Delicious and healthy food at Cazba! You get a great size portion at a really reasonable price. My favourite is the chicken kabob with their garden salad!

Brought here by a local. She had a kebab- mix of beef and ground beef; I had the lamb kebab. Both the lamb and beef was very tender. I'd planned to get the creme caramel for dessert, but ended up eating almost all of the saffron rice as it was soooo good tasting. I ended up taking the creme caramel to go and I demolished it in a matter of minutes- light and sweet and tasty- not heavy at all. Attentive service. We sat on the deck in rattan chairs; it's a narrow deck with paired chairs and a table set out there. I thought it would be noisy because of traffic but it wasn't. Inside would have been much noisier as there were several large groups there. They also had heaters out there so it was warm and toasty. I would go again.
I really enjoyed dining at Cazba, it was recommended to me by some persian friends who drive from the Northshore just to eat here. I thought their food was delicious, lots of good flavors and their menu has a lot of dishes. Their kebabs and soups are a must try, especially the chicken and the beef. I think think the only thing that could improve is the fact that the meat was a little salty, there is rice and salad but I think less salt would have been nice. Loved their rice and tomato. Also they have a nice drink menu!

Nice Persian restaurant in the West End that serves Halal AND alcohol.
It was my first time coming here tonight. I was afraid to get my hopes up cuz I've had some disappointing experiences at Eastern Mediterranean restaurants in Vancouver. I was pleasantly surprised that the food and service here was quite good. I don't know if it was authentic cuz I haven't eaten a lot Persian food, but it was tasty to my amateur palate.
Portion of food was large, that's saying a lot coming from me. We ordered the Cazba platter which came with three different meat kabobs and two large rice - each portion of rice was served on its own platter! The chicken, which consist of just white meat, was not dry but juicy and tender. The ground beef and beef steak were also done nicely. There are a few restaurants out there that can learn a some things from Cazba. We also ordered a Gheimeh (stew w/beef and lentils) that our server recommended. I couldn't really enjoy the stew as much as I wanted to as there was too much meat already. The food is very reasonably priced compared to other Eastern Mediterranean restaurants. A bargain for restaurants in this area considering the taste & quantity. They also gave out complimentary pita with 1/2 a raw onion. What?!! Raw onion?!! C'mon man. Gotta give it a try...nobody talk to me after this meal.
Our server was knowledgeable and happy. When asked for a recommendation, she gave us one with enthusiasm & without hesitation.
Will definitely be back to try their other dishes, as I was quite pleased with the food I had today & very intrigued by some of the other items on their menu.
Had the joojeh viziri kabob. Very tender chicken and nicely spiced beef kabob. Rice was light and fluffy. Good service. I'd come here again.
Legit, this place has the most moist, succulent chicken kebab I've ever eaten. The food here feels like love was the main ingredient here. I remember going to their original location in North Van, before they opened up this westend location and was worries quality would be sacrificed. It didn't. Also, the value for your money here is unreal. One skewer is more than enough, even though I always order two! Lol.
Great atmosphere with great attentive staff. They have great daily specials every day for only $7. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend this place
Hands down the best Persian restaurant in Vancouver!! You'll always get quality delicious food with generous portions at an amazing price. If you like kabobs this is the place to go. My personal favorite dishes are their Barg Kabob, Garden Salad and Kashke Bademjoon. And for drinks their Signature Ceasar!
This is a great little place. 5 of us ate for 99 including drinks. The kabobs were amazing. The only reason I gave them 4.5 and not 5 is that there are no options for kids.
