came here during at late night definitely decent bubble tea, buying it for friends who were at downtown location and then definitely roasted milk tea, 30 % ice or something like that, and grass jelly!
It has a wide range of flavours for you to try. I have to say my favourite would be any of the ones that have matcha. The sizes are a bit smaller than what you would normally consider as regular sized but being able to customize the amount of ice and sweetness is a plus.
Chatime always has a great selection of flavors, and so many options to customize and make it your own. The pearls are also fresh, unlike a lot of places I've been to. They also have an assortment of toppings/fillings(?) rather than the standard pearls, fruit jelly, and grass jelly. Their grass jelly is also super smooth and pudding like, which I prefer over the cut up squares. Definitely one of the better bubble tea places out there.
The interior of the Robson location is grander than most others I've seen (with the exception of Vaughan). Checkered tiles, an abundance of seating, and plentiful natural light made for a pleasant sipping environment. Comparatively, the staff was lacking, leading a twinge of disappointment to appear in my heart.
Two members of staff should have been more than sufficient to maintain an empty store. Yet both girls were sloth-like and possessed poor English listening skills, leading to overall inefficiency.
y own experience was of mediocre quality, but the couple that had sauntered in afterwards had been treated in a downright rude manner. The Thai Milk Tea wasn't bad though - just a few scoops more milk powder than I would have preferred.

Jul 2017: Their blue-purple gradient drink is very gimmick. Don't get it.
Jul 2016: Satisfies my cravings when in downtown. Roasted milk tea with grass jelly half sugar and no ice is my go-to. Brown rice green tea is also a good choice, the flavor is less intense than the roasted milk tea. Don't get the thai milk tea. It tasted like it's made from pre-made powder, very gross.
I’ve had Chatime a handful of times, but only in Calgary and I was feeling in the mood for bubble tea after I had lunch with my mom so I decided to try this Chatime location. Here’s what I ordered:. Roasted Milk Tea w/pearls – 80% ice and regular sugar ($5.5o or so?) (4.5/5). I’m normally not a huge fan of milk tea and don’t usually order it, but since I tried Chatime’s Roasted Milk Tea, I’ve fallen in love. I definitely recommend trying it before if you haven’t, especially if you like milk tea! I’m super picky about tea in general so I wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I did
I still remember when I was first invited to Chatime’s grand opening last summer on Broadway. Since then, Chatime has been the my bubble tea place to go. I also bring my friends, and they seem to like it too. Since we were in the area, and one guy wanted some bubble tea after dinner, I led them over to the Chatime on Robson. Wow… again, another crazy line up. They are doing so well!
One of my favorites bubble tea places, I love the roasted milk tea with grass jelly here, strawberry yogurt smoothie, lychee yogurt QQ, Taiwan Mango QQ and more!! Their pearls at the Robson location are always cooked perfectly and their customizations make it very easy to make your drink how you like it!!
I think I really should come back here for their actually bubble tea since I only tried their honey lemon aloe drink which was alright but I know it was something they probably don't specialize in. It was retry busy probably because they just opened. I like how they have options on how much sugar and ice you would like in the drink though. I can't believe there are already 4 locations of this place within the Lower mainland.
So glad they opened a location on Robson st. It's much better than other bubble tea places in that it has more tea flavour. And love that you can choose the sweetness and amount of ice. I usually get half ice and 30% sugar which is perfect!
