I've been coming to this place for years and love the laid back atmosphere. As others have mentioned, the owner is often working on her own so be patient, sit back and grab a drink. The owner is quite the character and well worth the time getting to know. I took my dad in here last night and she started bringing us out food to try and treated us like family....I love the beef bomber, but definitely recommend everyone try her homemade empanadas that she also makes for some high end restaurants.. She mixes it up so depending on when you go she may have different types of empanadasThis is a great "hole in the wall" spot in Kits with a great ambience that is different than the other restaurants in the area.

Bean and Cheese Burrito Bomber. Bean and cheese burrito basically, the home cooked salsa on the side with tortilla chips. I've been having it for years and by far one of my favorite quick meals.

We call ahead usually and get them to go. Always satisfied afterwards.

It’s a small neighborhood mexican (tex-mex mostly) place adjacent a convenience store, and Chewies Oyster Bar in Kitsilano. It was fairly quiet at this time, and we seated ourselves while the server brought our menus.
