Came here for a quick lunch on a weekday. It was raining and the place was empty. There are not too many tables, though. You have a choice of noodles, vegetables (or all) and toppings (meats or a tofu). Overall, the noodle was simple, fresh and the broth was plain but quite reasonable.
Tinny restaurant off 4th, mainly vegetarian - you can pick from 4 different kinds of noodles and a variety of vegetables. The broth itself is vegetarian for you full vegetarians out there. Staff is nice - all round good restaurant
As I get older my body finds new ways to tell me to stop having fun. The first thing that tends to hit most people is the hangovers get worse and sometimes even last for days. Sure, the fact that I have a go big or go home mentality probably doesn’t help, but that’s just how I roll. The latest indicator of my aging body is all the different body aches and injuries I’ve had. I had a partial rupture in my achilles tendon a few years ago, and most recently I’ve been battling a wrist injury which has had me sidelined for over 3 months now. Weight lifting has become a big part of my life and is great stress relief. Not only that but it’s what allows me to maintain the lifestyle where I get to eat and drink what I want without becoming Jabba the Hutt. Well, after a couple months of sulking and taking out my frustrations on Little Bunny I finally decided to head to physio and try and get some work done on my wrist. I go to a place on 4th ave and so as I was walking home I walked by Healthy Noodle House which I’ve always seen and wondered how healthy it really was. I’ve started to giggle like the Pillsbury dough boy when poked, so I decided a healthy meal for lunch was probably a good idea.
