Nice ambience and good staff. Food was fresh and very prompt. Decent wine selection and very reasonably priced. I'd definitely come back. !
Beautiful environment.Its very busy at times so be ready to wait just in case! The food however is worth it. I enjoy coming in for a quick bite and some nice wine.
Excellent meal and attentive service. I had the pizza and it was the best pizza I have ever eaten! The crust was crispy and the toppings were fresh and tasty. First class!
A Neighbourhood Restaurant that offers good food, and a rustic ambience perfect for a family or slightly formal gathering.. I have probably enjoyed a meal at Senova more than any other restaurant in Vancouver in recent years. I have enjoyed mid-week lunches there as well as many dinners. It is a wonderful neighbourhood restaurant...an all too rare a commodity in Vancouver. It offers a selection of appetizers, salads, pasta, pizzas and entrees for every palate that enjoys Italian food. My favourites are the salad cabrese, La Bruchetta, Cozze alla Marinara (for mussel lovers), minestone soup, Penne Salsiccia, and the rack of lamb...their 5-layer chocolate cake is probably the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted (the portion is big enough for 4 people). Good selection of moderately priced wine and wine by the glass...lovely rustic ambience. It is not fancy but the food is good, the servers good and the chefs great.
I notice there's a lady there all the time that works there and always makes my food. I enjoy this restraint and I love the pasta especially the spaghetti with Alfredo! Can't wait to go again. I love capachinos!
