I have only been in this JJ Bean hidden in a nook of Woodwards but it's been a pleasant experience each time. The atmosphere is cozy and not overwhelmingly loud or busy most of the time, making it a great secret spot for writing papers or studying. Service is usually quick and impersonal, which I don't mind, but I've fortunately never had a rude server yet! The coffee is quite good and their espresso isn't particularly fantastic - a little on the blander side - but I like their Americanos well enough. The real highlight of this place: it's an excellent dog watching spot. Once, I saw a husky playing basketball with a group of people on the indoor court in front of the cafe, and another time I saw a little dog scampering by wearing a knit sweater. A knit sweater! For this reason alone, I highly recommend this place.

My favourite JJBean location. Great service & coffee! Hidden in the Woodwards building, it is never overwhelmingly busy, so you can always get a spot to sit. Love the layout of this location, almost feels like a log cabin.
