Not super gourmet but huge portions and reasonable price. They always have Consistent food quality, nice owners. Love our local sushi spot! amazing value! We have been going here for over 15 years, still as consistent as ever.

This place never fails me. I always order their $11.50 combo meal which includes your choice of 3 items off the combo list + miso soup. You can also get a stamp card where you get free sushi or appetizers for every 5 stamps (you get 1 stamp for every 10$ before tax purchase). Food is great, portions are good, the combo is enough to get two average people full. Friendly family sushi restaurant. Service can be slow when it gets super busy. Always call ahead when picking up orders to skip the wait.
Best all you can eat sushi deal in Vancouver. If you eat a lot this place would be good. The food was good, but the wait was quite long because it's a small restaurant. They have some basic rolls, so don't expect too much variety.

MY FAVOURITE SUSHI PLACE!. Now I say this is my favourite sushi place NOT for the sushi but for the service. Honestly, I am fine eating sushi that is good but not great if it means I get great service. I would rather spend money and tip large at Happy Sushi than at some franchise restaurant to some server who is providing service solely for a nice tip. Vivian, the wife, is soooo sweet. I absolutely LOVE coming here. It's worth coming down just to get to chat with her! For sure the environment is a little different when she's not there serving (which is usually during weekday early afternoon..shes probably taking care of her kids or something) but whenever she is there, I PROMISE you will get great service! The stamp card is also a great incentive to get me to keep coming back! Every $10 you get a stamp and they add up fairly quick!! I eat at this place at least twice a week and have been doing so for a really long time and probably will continue to for a reeeeally long time! Thank you Happy Sushi!!
Good local sushi joint. Just had lunch at Happy Sushi. The food was good, service was prompt and friendly, and prices were cheap. Overall a good value in a local spot. I'll be going again.
Cozy place. Normally this goes against my comfort zone, with so many of these average decor places but friend convinced me that this was one of the better ones along Victoria.

Ordered salmon sashimi, smoked salmon roll w/ cream cheese, & the dynamite roll, which was my favourite. Surprisingly fresh, but guess at these prices, easy for turnover.
Good enough for a casual date, (nothing serious, but won't make the impressions if that's what you're looking for), nicer than most decor-wise. Like a few action seats at the front.
Though they used pink ginger, gave an extra star for the service & constant refilling tea.
Parking a bit tough on Victoria so go to side streets or take your chances at the London Drugs plaza.

Driving though the city , stumbled upon happy sushi . Food the service to be prompt and happy , food was quick , great portion size and the quality and price were good. Id definately come back
The service is not bad like most restaurants. Kind of what you would anticipated from a japanese restaurant run by chinese people. The food is great, i recommend the all you can eat because its really worth it for only 14.99! I have seen a lot of terrible restaurants like fish on rice but this restaraunt isnt as bad as the other reviews say. Service 3/5 food 4/5.
