Vietnamese owned local burger bar. They make their own hamburgers (just the beef) and offer themed twists on burgers (Mexican, Californian, Cajun, Morrocan). Their buns I'm pretty sure they just get from Cobbs, but it tastes like a solid burger and yeah crinkle fries or rings are usually pretty solid.
The other reviewers are right, it's ain't the best...Granville Island burger joint I think is better, but it actually ends up besting most of the sit down restaurants in Lower Lonsdale :D
A pretty good burger. I'm kind of a burger guy. I like them a lot, but there aren't a lot of places in town to get a good burger. I'm not too sure why, but I really do like these guys's burgers.
They're quite tasty, and the price isn't horrible. It's not great, but not horrible. They also have those ripple cut fries which I kinda like.
The cons: The couple that owns the place sometimes are more concerned with showing you the photos of their products and suggesting things than they are at actually listening to what you want. I like my fries crispy, but the last time I went there he just didn't listen even though I said it twice. I was in a hurry so I didn't bother saying anything after that.
It's the kinda place I could go to once every 6-8 weeks and be fine with.
I just got Fries (I think it was 2.95). They were nice and crispy on the outside while still being soft on the inside, so good stuff. I used to get hot dogs there, and damn were they good, but as of late, they just keep jacking the prices up higher and higher…used to be like 4-5 for a dog, now it’s closer to 7-8.
