Not fancy, not gourmet, not expensive, but very good for what reviewers call "fast food." In fact, it is a very fine family restaurant, a good place for a nice dinner (again, not gourmet, not expensive). Very nice desserts, soups and fries. Serve beer and wine, some drive-ins in burbs, most have free parking. Separate menu for kids, including their famous (yes, it is!) Pirate Pack. NOTE: All White Spot restaurants are typically underrated as that is a snobby thing to do in Vancouver.
Fast service and food was good. Menu didn't have any items for vegetarian.. except granola etc but I just ordered a regular meal and gave the bf the meat. Food and coffee was nice. Clean and friendly staff as well.
This past Christmas, White Spot locations at Kingsway in Vancouver and Richmond Centre opened for lunch on Christmas Day to raise much needed funds for two local charities. 2017 marked the 16th consecutive year for this yuletide tradition. This year’s fundraiser generated $12,488 at Richmond Centre and $8,894 at Kingsway Vancouver for the Richmond Hospital Foundation and Variety – The Children’s Charity, respectively. Since its inception, more than $222,000 has been raised by the luncheon, in which all proceeds, staff time and tips from the afternoon are donated for a good cause.
