Came here a few years back for lunch with a girlfriend...was looking for a cheap, dive-y place to kill some time early this morning, & remembered the killer prices & portions. Stuffed! Got the 5.95 breakfast special...2 eggs done perfectly over easy, hash, bacon, toast & unpretentious coffee. Oh, and George Michael on the radio. Can't really ask for more. The decor really sucks, so you don't have to worry about being dressed well. I can see myself frequenting this place if I happen to live closeby, and will definitely come back for the hangover-worthy special.
All around really nice. It was very affordable considering the serving size and quality of the dish's. My family and I had plates of Chinese and my brother inlaw had a burger, we all really enjoyed our meals. It didnt cost us an arm and a leg and the service was excellent, they were both very warm and welcoming.
Id recommend the place to friends without hesitation.
Good Chow Mien. I really like the Chicken Chow Mien here. It is so tasty and large in portion. I could eat it forever, serious. I am very particular about chinese style Chow Mien, and this place has it right. The blend between meats, veggies, and noodles are perfect.
Great Burger. Best price in all of downtown for lunch --one can get stuffed on good food for under $10
Awesome pancakes, great homemade soups! Classic coffeeshops...hope they stick around for a long time!
