I love this place. All my favorite Dim Sums can be found!
The food is excellent, freshly made.
The "chicken" on a stick is just AMAZING. I have taken many non veggie friends and they all were in awe!
The owner was very accommodating, one item on the menu was all gone and he made a batch for me.
I go very often and take home some take-outs and they freeze very well.
The best vegan Asian food I have ever had. The service is warm and the food is amazing. Go!
If you're vegetarian and miss having meat, or you're carnivore that is eating with a vegetarian friend, this place is pretty tasty. Many of the items are deep-fried in some fashion, but tastes great.... Almost cannot believe that it's not meat. Just don't eat it too often, the dishes are heavily seasoned and spices, so it takes your taste buds for a ride.
As a non-vegetarian, I think this restaurant is a good option for those non-meat-eaters to dine together with their meat-loving friends.
Although the service was quite slow (they only had one person working as a waitress :( ), I really liked the food. I think this place does a great job with making common Chinese dishes completely vegetarian. For instance the siu mai and ha gao were quite enjoyable; of course, not like the real thing, but pretty similar in taste. In terms of pricing, I would say it's pretty standard; not that expensive, but not too cheap either. I'd definitely come here again to try more items.
We came here at noon on a Sunday to try vegetarian dim sum. The place was half full. There was only one staff so it took some time before she came around to take our order. The food came fairly quickly. The fried noodles are comparable to regular dim sum equivalent. The sticky rice tasted different, using tofu instead of chicken, but good. The siew mei too soggy and soft. The dumpling is comparable.
The taro, pumpkin, coconut milk stew is delightful! Would have been even nicer with brown rice but it had run out.
I liked it. We ordered the drumsticks (which had an interesting texture), spring rolls, meat puffs, Indian style noodles (basically spicy chow mein), and the chicken cutlet with orange sauce. Food was tasty and I felt satisfied afterwards. The owner and his wife were really courteous and friendly. I still would prefer Bo Kong (whole vegetarian restaurant) but I would come back here again if I was in the area. Worth trying if you are a vegetarian.
Dim Sum and "chicken" wings. This place really hits the spot. I haven't had a bad meal here and they really know how to create interesting yet comforting food!
Nothing bad to say about this place.
Veggie Dim Sum is Tasty. 3G is a nice, clean and friendly asian style vegetarian restaurant. we are regulars for sunday afternoon dim sum at 3G. i would recommend this place to all vegetarians or anyone seeking veggie dim sum. the congee is really good...
I LOVE 3G. It is vegetarian paradise! We go almost every weekend, if possible! Our favourite dishes are the spring rolls, beans with olive oil, panfried gyoza, eggplant and tofu with bbq sauce. We are attempting to try more dishes on the dim sum menu next time! YAY LOVE 3G
Tasty but nutritionally unsatisfying. (Those yummy wheat balls in sugary sauce burn through pretty quick but never leave your thighs...) Next time I'll try the soba & vegetables and a soup.
The chicken drumsticks are amazing. Service is great and they have a great dim sum menu on the weekends. Even if your not vegetarian I think you will enjoy this restaurant.
