For a Sunday brunch we went to Ouisi Bristro on Granville Street. It’s a long time New Orleans Cajun/Creole restaurant, that opened in the mid-1990s, and unfortunately is slated to close at the end of October 2019. This was actually my first visit to the restaurant. We arrived just after noon, and were seated immediately.

What a pleasant surprise!! I totally expected French because the name of the restaurant threw me off, but no!! Louisiana cuisine!! Loved it!! Nearly, flavourful and filling. My server was awesome! The table was kind of sticky. Perhaps they are washing it with the wrong solution. The portion size was generous and the price was average. I loved the corn bread!! Yum!! Have to go again and try other menu items!!

Louisina food for lunch

It was my son idea to have a Louisina food and we found the restaurant 'Ouisi Bistro'.
It's a medium restaurant with indoor & outdoor seating decorated with wood interior similar like i ate in Louisiana.
Good to have a Jambalaya for lunch (small portion is enough for 1 person).
The service was quick and we receive warm welcome from the team.
Quality of food is good to entertain us on having jambalaya menu in Vancouver.
Need to try this restaurant when you are in vancouver. Selamat Makan!
