My boyfriend and I came here once before and we enjoyed it so we came back with our family. Service was excellent and every single item in the menu was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals
First time experience for a little Christmas dinner. The decor and ambiance was amazing it felt like you walked into some brasseries in Europe.
We had a 6pm seating, slightly early, restaurant was not as full. Our waiter was helpful but didn’t appear overtly friendly.
When it came to food, the Classico carpaccio was good, but was shaved a little thin. The thinness was to the point that each individual carpaccio was stuck together. Moving on we had a “carne” selection, and in hindsight I think we got tricked. The “limited quantity” veal chops was flattened, with a parmigiano and breadcrumb topping. It was veal chops that tasted like baked pork chops. Tender indeed but was not as expected.
Finally, dessert was soufflé and at this point I was already way too stuffed. It was a rich dark chocolate ganache with ice cream on top. The centre was a smooth chocolate lava filling. It was a indulgence.
La Terrazza had been on my list of restaurant to try for a few years now and I’ve never gotten around to it until now! This was our second $40 Dine Out pick and last of AngryRussian and my four dine outs…I have one more to go with my parents…yes I went crazy this year.

Excellent service. Excellent food. Lots of selections and very reasonably priced. There is a massive wine list with selections from $50 to well over $5,000 a bottle and upon request our waiter made a superb recommendation for us which was by no means expensive. Will be back again for sure!
Last Sunday I decided to go out for a random Italian date night. Honest to god, I don't even crave for carbs that often.. so pasta isn't really something I have to like "omg I need to stuff my face in". I know before you roll your eyes and think "ok bitch, but carb is the best thing on earth". I devoured an entire dish at Antons; mainly for the purpose of a pen that says "I finished Anton's pasta". I guess that ended the life of it all, for pasta and for pens.

Tonight we were here for a wedding ceremony and reception, and what a venue the was. Even from the outside the building is iconic. It was shaped like a circle with fluted awnings over each window, and a tiled ground leading up to the entrance. Right on the corner its unique location and its unique shape allowed it to catch the eye of many driving by. And with plenty of metering parking all around it, there is no reason not to stop by to check it out.
Reservation Times. I had made a 9pm reservation, but my party and I didn't get seated until 930 and when we walked into the dining room there were a ton or empty tables that could have accommodated my friends and I. Other than that, the food was great and our server was lovely!
The set up and lounge area of the restaurant is great. Food isn't bad, but nothing special. I really like the wine selections. Service was good. Price is on the higher end.
i am so glad we went here! Our valentine’s day plans feel through due to the Vancouver Art Gallery closing earlier than 5 and not letting anyone in. They took us without a reservation! Our server was Billy, and he was lovely. As was our meal. I’m sure we will be back!
First time dining here and the food was fresh hot and fast. Our server was delightful and made sure we were always happy.
The restaurant is beautifully designed and last night's audio was playing Frank Sinatra creates a memorable atmosphere.
We tried the:
Beet salad
Mussel
Lamb
Bolognese
Onion rings
Brussel sprouts
Would definitely go back again. Bon Appetito
They do serve 'real' and high quality Italian food. Fast and easy reservation, the vibe and ambience is one of the kind. The balsamic and virgin olive oil was awesome!
A Vancouver staple. A classic Italian restaurant with delicious food and amazing staff. Sarah was brilliant! The owner vsiited our table to check in. I haven't even started on the food. Wow. You know the chef is putting the love in. It was our anniversary and they went the extra mile. MELANZANE ALLA PARMIGIANA was something else. A must try. LOBSTER SPAGHETTINI ALLA CARBONARA and STROZZAPRETI BOLOGNESE were packed with flavor. Definitely a must try when in Vancouver.
The service and food was excellent. The pasta was well made and had the right amount of flavors. Also, the presentation for coffee was a cut above the rest. The place is a little pricy, but if you want to spoil yourself with Italian food, you can't go wrong.
This is such a beautiful restaurant. I originally came here with a friend who has been coming for years. The Bolognese literally changed my life. The Wine selection is amazing, I was raised in a wine loving family and the cellar here has some of the most impressive vintages. I love that the owners are out and come to chat to you, it reminded me of Italy the way lots of family restaurants are run. They were very accommodating of my gluten allergy, and the server was phenomenal. I can't wait to bring my family here when they visit. And I will definitely be back!
Always a fantastic experience at La Terrazza. From the moment you walk in with friendly staff and hand crafted cocktails in the bar/lounge. Not to mention one of the most extensive wine menus in all of Vancouver all reasonably priced.
To the delicious menu with a great variety... this has become a weekly favourite for my friends and I.... no wonder its been around for over 25 years!
Definitely setting and exceeding the standards for fine dining in Vancouver.
