Very cool place .... loved every bite & the sparkling water for free is nice touch
Loved it, delicious authentic Italian pizza. So good!
The Absolute Best Pizza in Town. Amazing service.
Best pizza in Vancouver, cool place and good service.
Go try it!
The servers are exceptionally pleasing. The toppings are done just right. The dough is wholesome and delicious. 5 stars
Best Pizza in Town, I've been waiting for a Pizza Shop like this in Vancouver for 10 years
Sooooooooo goooooooood...don't ask..just go try it
Unreal Pizza!
Great service too!
Thoroughly impressed with the pizza at this joint. I checked it out because it was rated as the best pizza place in Vancouver a few years ago and I love me some pizza. The place didn't disappoint - I like the small space, relaxed atmosphere, and fresh pizza.
In terms of what to order nothing I've ever had has disappointed me. As a vegetarian I go with the margarita and the fungi without the meat but my meat-eating friends agree that you can order just about anything there.
I think their gimmick about closing when their out of dough is charming and ensures the food's fresh but I know it irks some people. The place is well worth it!
Superb taste that makes you heart melt away after having pizzas in this place !! Highly recommended..High end pizza taste in ghetto hood ..worth of every penny
Sister restaurant to Ask For Luigi, their pizza toppings are what differentiates this from other Neapolitan style pizza restaurants. Marguerita Pizza is my default for testing the quality of a pizza place. This one had fiore di latte on it so naturally it was delicious. Looking at the cans of tomatoes they have, no wonder the tomatoe sauce was tasty.
My favorite pizza in Vancouver for sure! Lots of great selections and the ingredients they use seem to be very fresh. Lots of good flavors and their dough is so good. Perfectly cooked everytime, love their meat pizzas all the way. Salami here is the way to go. Thin crust and great to try real pizza. Love to take a few home and great to reheat even.
If you’re a pizza lover, you have got to try Pizzeria Farina in Chinatown. Part of Kitchen Table Restaurants group with sister restaurants Ask For Luigi and Pourhouse, Pizzeria Farina has been named a top Vancouver pizza eatery. It was just recently that I tried Pizzeria Farina and their pizza rocked my world! It was so good, my friends. More on that below.
Fresh thin crust pizza? Yes please! Really glad I got the Calabrese, which features soppressata (thinly cut dry salami). So delicious. Shared a pizza amongst two people and was decently full. Come early because this place closes once they run out of pizza dough for the day!
Always one jump ahead of the breadline, you can have your beer and Pizzeria Farina too if you take it to the bar, Boxcar, right next door. Street rats for company (and I'm not talking about Eric and I this time), it's hard to put into words how lovely it is to eat your fresh out of the oven sausage pizza surrounded by dirty dumpsters next to the setting sun with only several cans of cheap cider to wash it down with.

We ordered 6 different pizzas when we had friends over, so I feel like I've got a good taste of the variety of pizzas offered -- especially considering they don't have a huge menu. I really loved the dough -- it was quite chewy but I do like chewy crusts. It was a thin enough crust that it didn't make it difficult to eat due to the chewiness. The topping combinations were great on all of the pizzas we had. The only downsides for me were that I thought the sauce combined with the the toppings was too salty for my liking. Saltier than any other pizza I've had. I also thought that the sauce and toppings made the pizza crust more watery/floppy than I would expect from a thin crust. Would I eat here again? Yes, absolutely. But I wouldn't rave about it in the way I've heard others do (not sure what all the hype is about as I've had many better pizzas in Vancouver) and I wouldn't go out of my way to get pizza here.

The pistachio pizza is really good, and I will brave it despite my lactose intolerance. I may or may not eat the whole pie myself in one sitting - that's just how I live my life.
Seriously you got to be kidding me wow. Best pizza I've ever had why? The dough is so LIGHT and it's so simple with a punch of flavor. The best part is I didn't feel like shit afterwards from heavy dough/gluten!
I ordered the fennel sausage, the pistachio, the mushroom, and the formagi. My first time ever and screw every pizza locally cause this place got it down omg!
Another restaurant that definitely lives up to the hype. Had the funghi and fiochionna. Funghi was better but both were amazing. The infused oils are unreal complement to the meal. Restaurant was a bit too busy for me so next time I would do take out.
I don't usually come by this area, but I have to say pizza farina is unlike your regular grab and go pizza, think pizza suitable for fine dining .
Very delicious pizza. Thin and crispy crust with fresh toppings. I suggest the funghi. Lots of mushrooms and roasted garlic with arugula on top. The room is a little small but cute. Make sure you come early because they do run out of dough.
Great pizza here, and super friendly service. You can also see the cooks working their asses off in the back to make sure you get your pizza in a timely fashion. Make sure to tip. These people deserve it.
One of my favorite pizza places in vancouver!! The dough is always fresh, just enough sauce, fresh toppings and friendly neighborhood atmosphere. The shop is a bit small for the crowd of ppl that come through so i suggest coming early or order take out!
Honest and delicious... That's all I want from a slice and Farina gives you just that. It's no wonder they run out of dough! Their napoletana style of brick oven baking combined with simple/delicious flavours adds to their appeal and is the main reason I choose this spot over the abundant vancouver competition. Not just a neighbourhood joint but a community staple!
Hands down my favourite Neapolitan pizza place in Vancouver! Their pizza crust is just a perfect combo of salty, soft and crunchy.... their tomato sauce and fresh toppings...so ridiculously delicious.
Really excellent pizza. We got the special and the funghi. Lots of toppings, just enough cheese, and thin, chewy yet crispy and fresh crust. Really busy but we got takeout. The place smells amazing, it's torturous while you wait.
Great thin crust pizza. Great unique pizza at good prices. I've had the calabrese (meaty, bit salty but otherwise amazing) and one of their specials (gorgonzola, apples/pears, really good) and the quality is top-notch. Two people can share one pizza but if you're super hungry you could soldier through one yourself probably.
The downside to the place is that it's just super small. Don't bring strollers, big bags, your luggage, etc. There's probably only about 20 total seats. Order over the phone and get take-out instead!
Amazing pizza! Maybe overpriced but I definitely can't stop thinking about it. Added fennel sausage to our pistachio pizza and wow! Flavor heaven!
BEST FRICKEN PIZZA IN CANADA!!! No doubt about
THE best pizza for miles. Perfect base and just the right amount of toppings. Amazing mozzarella and the sausage is awesome.
Good pizza. They take it seriously unlike Campagnolo across the street who suck at pizza. The staff at Farina pretty much don't care about you or your need to be smiled at or respected, but who cares when the pizza's this good. Go there for the pizza, most def.
Simple. Delicious.. Simple fresh ingredients. You can taste everything clearly and the dough is obviously made from scratch that day. I would say the price is a little high for how filling a pie is, but I still come back for the flavour. I think there was a bit too much pepper, but everything else was perfect. The size of the pizzas is small - I had to order two to fill me up.
The decor is kind of fun - feels like an old industrial building from the 40's. A rustic floor, old fashion water tap, flush white walls with red accents and traditional bulb pennants take you back in time.
Similar traditional style pizzas can also be found at Bibo on 4th Ave and Famosa on Commerical Dr.
Small little place. Self service place. Price is reasonable, and the pizza taste great. I would definitely not recommend take out, but eat in once the pizza come out of the oven. The funghi was great and the crust was CRISPY. Definitely would come back again.
Overall experience: thumb's up
Best pizza I've ever had of this style. I've gotta say, this is my style, and within that style I've not had better. Crispy thin crust pizza. great looking place too.
Pizza to die for. I had the pizza "Funghi", and it was absolutely delicious. Service was very fast and friendly, and I LOVE the simple yet cosy design of the place. I'll definitely come back.
Funghi. 1. large size for the money (2x size to other Italian pizza place )
2. It's a help yourself store. Friendly but don't expect service.
3. Amazing interior design despite the extreme small space.
Dilemma- Farina or Nicli for top spot?. My husband and I had a night in last night and in light of all the good reviews of Pizza Farina, we ordered a couple of pizzas for pick-up.
In my husband's words, the tiny restaurant with a take-out counter and a few seats has a very "hipster" vibe. It is not incredibly inviting so I was glad that we were taking out.
But then we got the pizzas home and after my first bite, I was in heaven. My Funghi pizza was to die for, with multiple varieties of mushrooms, onions, just enough arugula and whole cloves of roasted garlic (my favorite!). It was topped with both mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, with the Parmesan adding the perfect amount of extra sharpness. It is a white pizza (no sauce) which allowed all of the ingredients to shine. I also added extra spicy peppers and anchovies for a little salty and spicy kick.
My husband ordered the Pizza Speciale, which seemed to be created with him in mind. It had all of his favorite ingredients including pancetta and smoked mozzarella, topped off with arugula. He loved it.
So now comes the big question- Farina vs. Nicli? To be fair, the decision has to be made on pizza alone as Nicli's atmosphere and overall dining experience obviously far exceeds Farina. But Farina does not pretend to be what Nicli is. Its obvious "raison d'être" is to do one thing and do it
well. I have had the Funghi at both Farina and Nicli and after careful deliberation, the Funghi at Farina just edges out the Nicli version by a hair. My husband disagrees and still prefers Nicli pizza.
In the end, both make great pizza and fortunately are targeting different parts of the market so my future decision will be easy- for take-out it will be Farina and for a nice night out it will be Nicli. Dilemma resolved!
Wow aaron!. I came with my 2 little ones one evening and was very impressed with not only the extremely "fresh" and chewy crust, but the fresh ingredients. I felt it was a great family place with seeing other parents with little ones there as well.
I am very surprised at Aarons entry for I feel maybe he doesnt quite understand what pizza should be??
Maybe he should go back to his panago for that full cake like full dinner feel he is looking for. ranch dressing on the side perhaps?
We had 3 pizzas and free sparkling water on tap for $42, which was a great price indeed!
The service was as quick as could be I think, considering the line up that followed me.
My little ones loves it, simple, not too spicy, yet full of flavor.
I'll be back for sure and make sure to tell all my friends to "gush" about it.
WONDERFUL. Wow, this is indeed the best pizza in town. I have travelled extensively including Italy and I must say the pizza's at this place is the most original I have had. I have tried 3 tasty regular ones and the lovely dessert one with apples, honey and feta hmmm, I'm getting hungry thinking about them. I love the sparkling water on tap and it is gratis. The staff is quick and efficient, attractive and always service is with a smile. Everything is made from scratch, as it should be and very fresh. This place is a winner and will succeed, I'm very sure. Did you know there is also parking in the back? It makes stopping for takeout or eat in convenient for out of towners like myself. I highly recommend this little pizzarina and hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do and shall continue to do. ENJOY
Charming and yummy!!!. I have now been to Pizzeria Farina three times (twice for eat in and once for take out) and the service, decor and FOOD are awesome!!! 2 pizzas for around $11 to $14 each feed me, my husband and my ravenous little boy very nicely. The ingredients are high quality and tastes and textures are very nicely balanced. I feel like we're eating good, simple, home-cooked meals when we go. The decor is very nicely done but unassuming and suits the 'hood. I'm so excited that there's finally some good quality, delicious, casual food in my neighbourhood!
Hands down best pizza in vancity!!!!! I thought I had walked into a funky little pizza cafe in Brooklyn.... Pizza was epic... Thin crust... Fresh FRESH ingredients! The room was simple yet had character oozing throughout the room.... This place will be, a HUGE HIT... Or I will eat my napkin next time I am there. Wurd!
Simply delicious. I love how Pizzeria Farina kept to one specialty only - pizza! And I must say they do a fine job of making it. I also appreciate the fact that their pizzas aren't overly complicated. I had the Funghi, a thin crusted oregano olive oil infused mushroom pizza topped with carmelized onions and arugula.....yummmmmy. They make their pizzas hot, fresh and fast. It's perfect for a quick bite to eat without sacrificing quality or taste. They also do take-out and pick-ups with a smile. I highly recommend checking this little pizza shop out.
Best pizzeria in Vancouver.. I was very blown away when I walked in on Saturday. They did an amazing job with the space and the people are great, taking pride in what they do. The menu in very minimalist, offering only 7 pizzas and 3 beverages, but everything is 5 stars. Will be back again cause I can't stop thinking how good the pizzas are....
Out of all the Neapolitan Pizza places that have cropped up in Vancouver in the last couple years, Pizzeria Farina remains my favorite. I’ve eaten here a lot and it’s always perfect. Great space to eat in, easy-peasy for takeout. Love the Farina… NOM NOM!!
Before checking out the Chinatown Night Market, we decided to stop in a Pizzeria Farina on Main street and Prior street, in the Cobalt Hotel. This is a tiny place, with a long communal table down the middle and limited private seating by the window. I’d heard good thing about their pizza, but had hesitated for over a year, largely because I don’t get down to Chinatown very often any more, particularly so at night, which unfortunately, is the only time Pizzeria Farina opens. We ordered the Pistacchio pizza, and had it boxed to go, since the house was full, and there were people waiting for seating. Our order took about 15 minutes to prepare, and we waited outside, since there were no empty seats inside (and it was pretty hot in there). This is a thin crust pizza, topped with parmesan sauce, Mortadella, aged mozzarella, pistachios & olive oil. And this is a very good pizza. It’s not an authentic Neapolitan pizza, and doesn’t try to be, but it is one of the better Italian style pizza pla
Serving unpretentious pizza napoletana in a humble location with quirky decor, Pizzaria Farina proves that simple can be best at times
The arugula was fresh, abundant, and perfectly complemented the delicate flavours of the mushrooms and onions. E proclaimed her finocchiona the best pizza she's ever had in Vancouver. And the crust! So good that I took A's crust
On the night we went their special was mortadella pizza with pistachios! I know, I know you must be surprised at the combination, but I have to say that it was a delicious combination.
alarmingly delicious :Main-Strathcona: Disclaimer: The fire alarm rang intermittently for a the first quarter of my visit. No idea why. It was loud and annoying, until I downed my first glass of wine...then it was just loud. Seating is sparse with high metal bar chairs, but it was surprisingly comfortable – Momma GG thought so too which means it's senior friendly. Yes, Momma GG knows I call her a "senior". She calls herself a "senior". Farina 's pizza is fabulous - very similar to Serious Pie in Seattle . The bottom crust was a little soggy in the centre but not enough to detract from the pizza. They have a handful of tasty options and a daily special to boot. The menu: Our choices: Daily special Funghi The funghi was better than the special. The special was a tad salty, and I'm convinced it had more to do with the bitterness of the kale than the prosciutto, but my dinner guests disagreed. Either way all three of us liked funghi the best. We polished off two pizzas. It’s a great
There Is Always Room

This was a pizza! I love when there is salad on top of my pizza because that makes is good for you. The arugula was nice and peppery so I felt it went really well with the mushrooms.
This blink-and-you'll-miss-it pizzeria located at Main Street and Prior Street that serves up Neapolitan-style pizza, without pomp and circumstance.
With only eight items on it menu (all pizzas), Pizzeria Farina, serves a very simplistic menu to an infinitely more eclectic crowd, on a daily basis...
Pizzeria Farina sits on Main Street just off the the Georgia Street Viaduct, sharing the same neighbourhood as Ba Le and Campgnolo . Farina joins the growing league of Neapolitan style pizza restaurants in Vancouver. Luckily, pizzas made from scratch, with quality ingredients, and a little heart never really go out of style.
Pretty awesome thin crust hand tossed oven pizza. The Margherita pizza is refreshing and tangy. Love how they have flavored chili pepper and oregano infused olive oils on the table you can use to sprinkle on your pizza and add flavour. Lots of white based sauce pizzas too that were tasty.
When we visited they couldn't offer the full menu so that was disappointing. However we did enjoy the two pizzas we got. The dough is nice and light, the toppings were fresh tasting. The oregano oil was nice to drizzle on top, the chili oil i find has no flavor .over all a good experience!
Ordered Pizza to eat at the Boxcar next door...amazing service and the pizza was soo good! We had the Calabrese and it was probably one of the best I've had. Plus the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be back!
Unfortunately, I haven't had food here yet but I was in the area to drop some cake for homeless nearby who were not the most accommodating as I brought no cutlery. The guys here went out of there way to help me, all of them came together, gave me cutlery, butter paper napkins, paper plates to serve cake to the homeless. I'm definately looking forward to there service next time I crave for a pizza 🍕!
Loved their Margherita pizza, definitely a strong tomato sauce flavour.
Didn't like the seasonal carbonara much - it was quite dry and salty, didn't warrant the higher price tag vs their regular pies in my opinion.
The dough dried out super quick as well, so definitely eat fast!
Not my top spot in the city, but very solid.
The staff were super friendly and efficient! Would want to come back to try other pies.
The staff here is so nice. There was an issue with an online charge that was stalled and everyone did their best to be as accommodating as possible. Not only that, but their pizzas are delicious! Highly recommend their funghi, quattro fromaggi, and boscaiola. I’m glad they’re sticking around Main St!
Visited Pizzeria Farina tonight and the pizza did not disappoint. I have had this place on my list for a while now, and so I had some pretty high expectations.
Ordered the Quattro Fromaggi and Boscalola, and they were both delicious. The base is light, flavourful and has good hold. This isn’t a slice like you get at Pizza Hut where it’s flopping all over the place. The sauces (tomato and white) are not over powering, but also bursting with flavour.
Service was polite and efficient.
It really felt like we were in an old Brooklyn pizzeria. Nat’s likes to call themselves a NYC style pizza place, but while it’s a gimmick for them, Pizzeria Farina pulls it off and practically teleports you to the east coast.
Highly recommend!
