In today’s throwback post, I’m sharing my experience of 2017 Easter brunch experience at P2B Bistro. Located inside the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront, P2B is a modern, upscale bistro offering mountain and ocean views from inside the restaurant and from the patio. While we enjoy going for a Easter brunch buffet, we also didn’t want to spend “too” much. At $49 per adult, the price was quite reasonable compared to other higher end Vancouver hotels where it could be closer to $80+ per person.
Went here for the Dine Out Vancouver Festival menu they had going. The lobster bisque was bold in its flavor and tasted great. Could go for another. Got a prime rib dish that came boneless with a single ravioli in the bottom. The rib had the right amount of seasoning and the texture was beautiful. That thing was top notch. Ravioli was pretty alright as well. Pecan flan (along those lines) served with pistachio ice cream was the dessert. It was good but you could probably get better elsewhere to be honest. Service was friendly and excellent. Very welcoming and warm. Overall, I was pleased with how things turned out and was able to enjoy the night.
Had the shrimp and scallops with risotto. Enjoyed the food, the prices were reasonable and place was nice. Only downside was I got poor service. I also felt there weren't enough to choices on the drink menu.
This was a pretty good place with a pretty good price. However, in the past, when I went to hotel restaurants, they usually offer bread to start, but they didn't. In the back of my mind, made it seem not hotel like.
The food was not outstanding, but it was pretty good for the price. We tried the Mushroom and Chicken Penne, as well as the Lingcod and Chips. The service was pretty good. The server we had was very friendly. The amount of good restaurants downtown, I don't think this would be my first pick.
Lovely restaurant with a beautiful view over the harbor area. The breakfast menu gave each of us exactly what we wanted, West Coast eggs Benny, malted waffles, and a delicious bowl of steal cut oatmeal with a fruit plate on the side. The server was very attentive and made for a great experience. Exactly what you'd love about a morning breakfast experience!
Lovely Bistro with a beautiful view over the water. The selection of breakfasts available are vast and we all got exactly what we wanted. West Coast Eggs Benedict with Salmon and Avo was delicious, Maple Waffle & the Oats and fruit platter were also a good choice . Service was good and the food arrived beautifully plated and in record time . Would highly recommend .
I came here to try their buffet brunch a few weeks back for a private event. The food was delicious and presentation was beautiful! There was a wide selection of appetizers, entrees and desserts and even an omelette bar. The staff are very friendly and were always attentive, filling our water, coffee and juices when they were getting low. I particularly enjoyed the omelette bar, where there was a wide selection of fresh ingredients where you can choose from (shrimp, peppers, cheeses, ham and mushroom). The ham and eggs benedict were precooked already so the muffin part was a bit dry but the egg was still runny and the hollandaise sauce was light and coated the egg well. All the food was executed well, with fresh ingredients.
I went here for Dine Out Vancouver 2015 - $28 dollar menu.
PROS:
- Excellent Service!
- Comes with free coffe + tea
- Spinach Gnocchi was delicious
- Creme Brulee was delicious
CONS:
- Squash Soup was very bland
- Chocolate Sampler dessert was not very good
Scallop fiend. Airy bright ambiance with great service and equally great food. the dungeness crab salad was light & refreshing. and all of us shared the charcuterie plate...normally i find goat cheese to be overpoweringly gamey in flavor but the goat cheese here was surprisingly deelish with absolutely no gamey notes!!! they changed their menu recently...before they changed their menu, i had the qualicum scallops with lentils and those were perfection. nicely sized scallops with a golden exterior....marrrvelous. for dessert we were presented with these great big gourmet cookies with ice cream. yummm.
Great place to dine at with view to the water.
dishes are just lovely, and serving's great.
