In today’s throwback post, I’m sharing my experience of 2017 Easter brunch experience at P2B Bistro. Located inside the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront, P2B is a modern, upscale bistro offering mountain and ocean views from inside the restaurant and from the patio. While we enjoy going for a Easter brunch buffet, we also didn’t want to spend “too” much. At $49 per adult, the price was quite reasonable compared to other higher end Vancouver hotels where it could be closer to $80+ per person.
Went here for the Dine Out Vancouver Festival menu they had going. The lobster bisque was bold in its flavor and tasted great. Could go for another. Got a prime rib dish that came boneless with a single ravioli in the bottom. The rib had the right amount of seasoning and the texture was beautiful. That thing was top notch. Ravioli was pretty alright as well. Pecan flan (along those lines) served with pistachio ice cream was the dessert. It was good but you could probably get better elsewhere to be honest. Service was friendly and excellent. Very welcoming and warm. Overall, I was pleased with how things turned out and was able to enjoy the night.
Had the shrimp and scallops with risotto. Enjoyed the food, the prices were reasonable and place was nice. Only downside was I got poor service. I also felt there weren't enough to choices on the drink menu.
