Exactly what I wanted. Had a BLT fries gravy and mulligatawny soup. Everything was great and satisfied my diner craving
To Freefall/horrendous experiance lady. I've had 10's of breakfast's here and have always had unbelievable food and bar none the best customer swervice ever...but then I don't treat the world like it owes me something. The story of you and your brother remind me of all the useless skin sacks wandering the earth determined to hate and to complain. I feel sorry that your life is being wasted and so thankful I have chosen to be NOTHING like you. Take the best waitress I've met's advice-cook your own food you miserable old cow!

Great food. I love eating at Dukes there prices are great lots of food and the girls that work there always take good care of me....you will not be disapointed in the place
Went to Duke's for lunch while on vacation on the Island. It's the perfect little diner to grab a bite to eat when you're hungry. Me and my friend shared the poutine and a sandwich and were completely STUFFED. The prices are more than reasonable and the staff are super friendly and personable. Working in the food/customer service industry as well, i can really appreciate when someone is genuinely happy to be serving you. I had a great experience and will definately come back for seconds the next time I'm in town!

Response to Horrendous breakfast.... As the server who was stuck serving this woman I can tell you what truly happened at this breakfast. You came in and with an attitude ordered your meal. I was super friendly as I always am with all our customers. Unlike you I love my job! I love coming to work and meeting new people everyday :) I give everyone who comes in the same respect they give me. If you're disrespectful, you WON'T be getting that friendly experience. I delivered your breakfast and just by the way you were poking and proding your toast,( inspecting it for toastiness?? ) I knew you were going to be a problem! I actually laughed as I went back and told my boss, the owner, who was cooking at the time, that I knew you were going to complain and you hadn't even had a bite yet! It's obvious you are just one of those people!! It was hilarious the way you were looking for a problem.
I returned to the table and of course you said it was DISGUSTING. I serve a lot of breaky's and yours was PERFECT! But you said the toast was "wet" and your eggs were touching our toast. and instead of asking for new toast or new eggs you just said it was gross (but you ate half) and you weren't paying for it. So after he heard your terrible attitude problem he decided he wasn't going to pay for some disrespectful, rude and overanalyzing "patron" to dine at our establishment. So you are the 1 out of 100 people who are impossible to please. Instead of just paying and leaving, you made a scene and then had your uncle come in the next day and threaten my boss. Really???? WOW.
So please hun, just do the world a favour and STOP DINING OUT!
They make the best breakfast. Quick and tasty. Especially there twist on eggs Benny. Worth a visit.
I love both the food and the staff. Dukes is one of my favorite places. Try the biggest breakfast it will blow your mind :)
Almost went to chain next door but stumbled into this gem instead. They're great! Open late on a Sunday. Nice service, cool indoor and outdoor spaces. My oyster burger and peppercorn penne were very good!
I enjoyed our visit here.
The ambiance was great. Though they did have some TVs playing sports, they weren't in your face like many other pubs. The place was packed when we got there, due to Xmas parties but it wasn't too loud.
The host was very accommodating. Because of the parties there wasn't any tables when we got there. After sitting at the bar, he brought us to a table that had opened up. By the time the rest of our group arrived he had a larger table ready for us.
The food was pretty good for pub food. They did have to bring my wife's nachos out 3 times due to kitchen mistakes. When she got it the way she ordered it, it was pretty good. They didn't charge us for them, so kudos.
Where they really stood out was the live entertainment. A jazz duo named Easy Street was playing. They were excellent and had a great repertoire from the 60s to today. We have already decided to go back next time they play.
I had an amazing experience. The service was great and quick. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable. The food...wow. We had the seafood linguini, the black and blue burger and the muscle and clam plate. The alfredo seafood linguini was spectacular, creamy and the perfect portion size. The black and blue burger was juicy and what a true canadian burger should be. If I lived in the community, I'd be back often.
Oh and the carmel Cheesecake. Get it.
The food was really good , good flavours , got caught up in a nice conversation with the person beside me so no pics but Jim the bartender was great too!
Service was good, food was good except my garlic toast tasted more like buttery bread. Garlic toast is pretty easy to make but perhaps it was a one off 🤔
My husband had the "black and blue" burger and it was tasty.
