It really enjoyed my visit to The Village Grocer. It was a small supermarket but they have the most unique things that you won’t find everywhere. The store was very clean and well organized. They decorated nicely with pumpkins when we shop during the Thanksgiving weekend. The prepared meals counter also have a great variety of cooked dishes that we could buy for our dinner. It was great that they have fresh made oven cooked turkey that we could buy to add to our homemade thanksgiving dinner. Another surprise that I found there was their cake shop. It was totally amazing! They have some beautiful cakes, cute looking cupcakes and tasty muffins. We were so excited to buy them home. I got their signature Lemon Meringue Pie (small size), two cupcakes and two pumpkin cranberry muffins. They were yummy and did not disappoint us at all. The price was not cheap compared to other grocery stores but I considered it reasonable for the high quality. It’s worth your visit if you want to buy some special items and high quality goods.

My family and I love going to The Village Grocer. We used to go to their previous location years ago but once they moved to Kennedy and 16th, everything got so much better. The customer service is always great on every visit. There are lots of speciality items to choose from including beautiful flowers, plants and delicious fruits. The jelly roll is my favourite item from there. It contains sponge cake rolled in whipped cream with various berries in between. It always makes for a great contribution to any event. Just be aware of the prices when visiting because some items are very inflated compared to your average grocery store.

Eating area is available for coffee, lunch or snacks. Store made ice creams are extra creamy with seasonal fruit flavours.
