The best al fresco dining experience in Uclulet can be found at this gourmet food truck. My husband and I split the fried oyster po' boy (accompanied by outsanding fries...light and crispy), and the salmon special. We started by sharing raw Effingham oysters with a chili tequila sorbet topping and seared tuna taco. Drop into the liquor store next door to pick up a nice cold beer to wash it all down. Eat at the picnic tables surrounded by cool metal sculptures. It all adds up to a dynamite summer dining experience not be missed if you are in Ucluelet.
More than just a food truck! The food, art and people here are fabulous. I tried oysters 3 different ways and they were all excellent!
After visiting Tofino in the daytime, we went over to Ucluelet as that’s where we’re staying on this trip. Our first night, it took us a while to decide on what to eat for dinner. We didn’t want just regular pizza and burgers, and I had been wanting oysters, so after much debating, we finally decided on Ravenlady Oyster Forte.
Had a huge variety of oysters! And even though I'm not an oyster fan I really enjoyed the Panko crusted oysters! Worth a stop along the main road for a quick snack!
Fantastic oysters. Had oysters a ton of different ways, and while I am a sucker for po boys (and theirs was amazing), the best were raw on the half shell with a little bit of wasabi - super fresh and sweet. The crew at Ravenlady know their oysters!
First time ordering a dozen raw oysters from a food truck and they were great! Fish and chips were also good. Wait was reasonable even though it was busy. Courtyard setting has cool sculptures with numerous benches and tables. A bit dusty on a hot, dry day when trucks roll by, but to be expected with outdoor dining. Excellent lunch in Ucluelet.
The food was spectacular. Ordered fresh oysters, Ukee bowl, po boy burger, halibut burger, fish taco, chowders and no complaints from the family. Tasted great and was made quickly.
Amazing food! The chef is from Montreal and used to work in high cuisine but started this food truck. The best seafood!!
There’s also a liquor store next door where u can get a cold drink to enjoy with your food!
We enjoyed the po' boy sandwich and fish and chips! The oysters were tasty and all fried items as a whole we're battered and seasoned well to highlight the featured seafood item. Thank goodness for clear weather as we had our meal under their well-situated covered tables. Great spot in ucluelet!
Freshest oysters. I grabbed their special which was superb, risotto shrimp balls. Would recommend any of their daily specials. Customer service was great and my order took about 15min. Seating opens up quickly so don't get discouraged. Cards or cash accepted.
With our stay in ucluelet, there wasn’t many food establishment in the area. We tried the fish taco and the calm chowder. The taco was great however the chowder was fairly bland and the consistency was runny. I would ask them before ordering a full bowl.
The food here was great. I loved the raw oysters but the fish ‘n chips were delicious as well. I also had the Ukee bowl which was a rice noodle dish with raw veggies and raw tuna covered in a fantastic spicy peanut sauce. It was uber good. Highly recommended place to eat when in Ucluelet. Oh yeah and the lot where the food truck is located has several several very cool sculptures.
I ordered fish tacos. They were so good, definitely recommend. The fish pieces were quite big and well-seasoned. Fish and chips was also good. The food took about 15 minutes to make
