No frills gujarati eatery with delicious food. We had dinner and the ladies who served us were super nice. The pani puri, and khandci were great, but the fried dishes were just average . All of the sabzis were delicious and had typical gujarati flavours. The highlights though were the hot rotis and puran poli that they served!! Aunty even forced us to have more... like you would with guests at home!!
All this for a very reasonable price.
Definitely recommended.
Do visit this place if you don't care about the ambience but you care about the home made food. They were making fresh roti, paratha and curries.
I drove all the way from Mississauga and to be honest I was not at all disappointed.

Vegetarian Gujarati Food. What more do you need? Undhiyu, freshly prepared Rotla, Kadhi, Shrikhand and more and buttermilk to wash it down with. The staff is friendly (very), price is perfect. Ambience is not too fancy - it bothered me for the first two visits, but I go there repeatedly for the food. Good work team Govardhan!
Govardhan Thal for a vegetarian will be in Top 5 restaurants in Toronto... Great food at economical price... Can't beat it! Enjoyed a variety of curries with unlimited rotis... I'm gonna eat here quite regularly
