The Gold Cheese Chicken smelled so good. There weren’t any cheese powder on it contrary to what the menu had said and also contrary to Wendy’s experience when she had had it on a previous visit. There were so many nuggets of chicken in the bowl! Bits of shredded cheddar cheese covered the crispy fried chicken.

My favourite KFC. A tad expensive but the portions make up for it for sure. The Golden Cheese Fried Chicken is amazing! Also order the Oden Soup and the Egg Cheese Roll. Service could be better but I can live with that as long as the food quality remains the same!

Heading home after work I walk along Spring Garden Ave, a small street spanning one block in North York that’s lined with restaurants. Over the past few years, a couple of the spots have turned over with Mymy Chicken, a chain of KFC shops from Korea, being the newest resident. When I first saw the signage for Mymy going up I was super excited for another KFC spot close to home. Since Mymy opened their doors a few weeks ago, I’ve already been twice.
