After renovation, this place has completely changed from the menu to food quality! The price is definitely fair and average , but food quality is amazing. So fresh. Lots of side dishes as well. Customer service is excellent
Whenever I'm craving for a soup that is warm and comforting, I like having Korean beef bone soup or oxtail soup. One restaurant in Toronto that makes them the best is Lee Nam Jang. They're known for their wide variety of soups and stews, but they also offer a great selection of meat and noodle dishes.
This area has some really solid Korean restaurants and this place is definitely up there in terms of quality - however the prices are definitely on the higher end of the scale..
We started with the seafood pancake, which was one of the better ones i've had. It's loaded with chives, veggies and seafood, so its actually pretty light and not too doughy. Beef bulgogi was generous and beef was pretty good quality. The beef soup I thought was a little bland its really just good beef broth with little complexity - will try the spicy version next time.
Service was not impressive, not sure if they were understaffed but took forever to have someone seat us. Also our waitress did not speak english, so our soup was not ordered and we only received it after everything else was eaten.
