The Dogs Bollocks Sports Bar & Grill is a Bar located on West Queen St. Toronto, ON. I’ve been there with my boyfriend and his co-workers Two Weeks ago. We’ve arrived the Bar around 6:00 pm during the weekdays. It was not very busy at that time. We had more than 10 people and we easily found a table. After we put down our bags, some of them began to order drinks and starters. Some of them began to play pools. Inside the restaurant is very dark. It was like normal bar style, which some fancy gaming for customers to play in the middle of the restaurant, such as pool table and a place for singing.
Since we had lots of people, we did not have a normal order for each other. We ordered our own beers and couple starters to share. The food came to us fast. The tasted of the food is decent. We had beers as well. But, for somewhat the beer bottles smell a little bit weird. In summary, this bar is OK.
With such an eclectic menu I was worried that quality had fallen to the wayside as quantity took precedence. This was not the case with the butter chicken I had delivered. It was hot and delicious! Slap on a side of Naan bread and some rice and you're all set for a great meal at home.
Amazing chicken fingers!! The fries were nowhere near the standards of the chicken. Nice environment to watch some sports and relax, but nothing to rant and rave about. Cheap pitchers, as well with lots of options!

Wait staff is friendly. Came w my boyfriend and some friends. My first time here but my boyfriend was here once before. His meal was great then and tonight as well. Again, Chicken Madras! Friends got wings and fries. They were great too. I'm surprised at the negative reviews on the food. I'm coming back!
After The Tale of the Town - Queen West , Gord and I walked towards home. We stopped at The Dog's Bollocks for a drink. There were seats available in the window and that's where we sat, watching Saturday night on Queen Street W. We each ordered a rum and Diet Coke ... 3 ounces in small pitchers for $10. We like it there and stop in occasionally.
I cant really explain what kind of place The Dog's Bollocks is because frankly you could call it a pub or even a sports bar. The place has its own identity and does not fall in with the trendy nightlife category, but rather its a place where you and your mates could just go hang out and get drunk out of your mind with the dirt cheap shots and 11 dollar beer pitchers. The food is decent as well and the service is not that quick, but then again that could also be because of the huge weekend crowds.
The Dog's Bollocks is not the snazziest place in T.o, but what makes it work for me is that it serves beer and food cheap. The demographic of the place is usually students, which makes the place lively. I love their wings. Great servers and staff. The over sized tables are absolutely a good reason to make this place a destination for your group of friends to start or end a night out. $10 pitchers of Canadian and a snack platter for under $30 which has all the pub classics like wings, nachos, french fries, onion rings, etc. Perfect for a night to grab some drinks and chill.
