Great food. Great quality and prices. I had Singapore curry rice noodles with beef. It was flavorful and not greasy. There was eggs and bean sprouts mixed in and yellow curry. They give big portions so leftovers for tomorrow. My hubby enjoyed seafood chowmein and crispy beef on the side. Everything was cooked perfectly.
We had an Uber Eats delivery from here. Overall, it was fine. We went for a Manchurian Vegetarian Hakka Noodles (extra spicy) and a Vegetarian Cantonese Chow Mein more.
The hakka noodles were good. For the chow mein, I felt the portion of vegetables was really overpowering and defeating the whole purpose of the dish. Having said that, it did taste good.
The delivery was quick - yes, partly the credit goes to Uber, but then also to the restaurant that pushed out the order on time.
Such a fan of this place and absolutely love the food here.
On what we ordered .
Appetizers-Pakoras - There is very unique tasteto thier chicken .approx 10 -12 in qty really crisp and
Properly marinated
#Manchow soup - Garlic, tangy soya flavour and tofu
#Satay chicken with mix vegetables - Chicken meat balls on bed of mix vegetables topped with scallions and grated tofu
Amazing aroma and great taste .
I recommend this place
This is the "real" Hakka Chinese food experience (true blend of Chinese and Indian flavours). The chili chicken (with real chillies) and fried rice (with finely minced cilantro mixed in) were both excellent with the "Calcutta Chinatown" taste! The noodle dish was OK, could have used a better variety of noodles IMO. The ambiance is basic but service is friendly. Nothing fancy but solid good option in the area.
My friends recommended trying Pakoras (fried chicken balls) and Thousand Island Prawns. Both dishes tasted very delicious. They give a good size portion too.
The Pakoras were crispy, tender and has a spicy dip sauce on the side.
The Thousand Island Prawns has a light sweet and tangy sauce that goes very well with the dish.
Good large quantity meal for the low price . Hakka style which is more Indian version of chinese food . Full of spices and flavours . The service is pretty quick and not alot of wait .
Delicious!. After moving away from my home town, I really missed my favorite restaurant which was a cantonese-schezuan restaurant. Luckily after a few months, I found this place. I'm a big fan of saucy dishes packed with flavor and this restaurant provides just that. Furthermore, their prices are very reasonable. I give this place two big thumbs up!
Really cheap lunch deals. The food is quite good for what it costs, and comes in giant heaving portions. If you live or work nearby, you might even consider eating their lunches every day. Their bubble tea costs $2.50, which is also pretty good. This place seems to be underrated! However, don't give too much expectations on service.
It was my first time having Hakka and I want to thank my friend for introducing me to it. Very flavourful and lots of selection. It was cheap and had HUGE portions. A a first timer, the menu was very overwhelming and the server has not particularly helpful.
