I go to Japango whenever I visit the beaches and I enjoy it every time! I usually get the teriyaki salmon. You get a good quantity of dishes from this bento for a reasonable price! Lunch hour is the best time to go. You get salad, miso soup, your meat dish, (depending on what you order). A good amount of rice, noodles and a refreshing orange slice. Tempura or sushi is included depending on what you get. Free refills of tea is a bonus. Every bite is enjoyable. I love the atmosphere of the place, it's a small and comfortable. Usually it's quiet. You can sip tea while enjoying a novel. It's usually quiet. Perfect for folks that feel like dining alone.
This is my favourite sushi place in the Beaches. They have great combo selections, fair prices and the dressing on the salad is a deliciously drinkable. The orange that comes with your bill is a perfect treat to end the meal.
Owners are always super friendly and their food always tastes great. Good atmosphere and decently priced. We don't eat out a lot but go here often :)
This place was really good :) going to a sushi place and being allergic to seafood is kind of a weird thing but anyways they catered to my allergies and they modified the bento box that I wanted, very friendly, great environment ;)
Consistently good. I have been to Japango about 5 times in last year. Always consistently good. This is a small restaurant so you may have to walk around and wait for a seat. Love the miso soup, other dishes always good..I actually don't know what they are cuz I let the rest of the family order for me.
Suggestion for improvement..could be a bit quicker on the tea refills, but that's not a big deal. Otherwise servers are very friendly and attentive.
I got their Beef Teryaki lunch special or my break at work. The miso soup it came with was SUPER flavourful with lots of tofu! The lunch itself was huge! Salad, noodles, beef Teryaki and rice! The beef was great! Had that charred grill flavour! The sticky rice was nicely cooked, and had a great addition of black sesame! The noodles were interesting. A very sesame oiled flavour. The salad was a bit plain, but the dressing was great!

I'm a big sushi lover and have been to many Japanese restaurants in Toronto. This place is definitely one of my favourite! The sushi's fresh, flavourful and beautifully presented. Friendly staff and cozy ambience add up to a real pleasant dining experience.
Best of beach area. High quality food ( very fresh!!), friendly servic, effortable price, and great portion!!! But little delay when busy time!!
Great food and polite, price points typical for the beach but very good sushi. Wasabi could be better.
