Inexpensive all you can eat!. Friendly quick service. Good quality for all you can eat. Well priced to compete with the 5 other sushi places in the area.
One of my Favourites on College. One of my favourites on College Street when it comes to sushi. We just fell in love with the place after trying the others. There are rolls there that are unique and always growing. The service is exceptional, we've got to know everyone and really enjoy their friendly attitude! Service is everything! The only thing is perhaps the atmosphere isn't as modern or beautiful such as Sushi D, but the price, the AYCE menu and the service makes up for a great place to be down near Ossington/College
Was just there for dinner last nite, the service was average for a sushi spot, the food was some of the best I've had in Toronto. Defiantly the best sushi on collage street. The prices were fair we had all you can eat. We can't wait to go back, might even pop in today for lunch!
Best in little Italy. Great little shop on College street. Nothing amazing as far as selection but always fresh and the prices are very reasonable. Staff us very attentive and hospitable and the feel if the place is casual and intimate. A safe place to go and recommend over Sushi D.
Best Sushi in Toronto. For 12.99 AYCE maki and sushi and some kitchen orders this place is AMAZING! The Arctic Roll is unique and flavourful and I always bring my friends here. The staff is adorable and the head chef is always a joy - he gets to know his regulars. Fresh and delish it's hidden in LIl Italy - but the best sushi I have had in the city by far.
A Good Substitute For My Fave. I went to this place on Jan 2 because I had a hankering for some AYCE sushi again. I wanted to go to Sushi Island but it was closed. Rolled down the street a little further to see that this place was open; empty, but open.
Like the other reviewer said, the pricing is like sushi island. For $12 you get AYCE sushi menu only and for $20 you get the full menu. Ordering from the whole menu I actually thought their food was decent. Although not as good as Sushi Island IMO, their beef sashimi was good, their agedashi tofu was good, and I found their sushi rolls to be pretty good as well. I did not experience any of the fall apart mushy fish that another reviewer did.
One downer was of course the lack of enoki beef roll on their menu, and I heard the microwave go off a few times which means something was being defrosted/heated quickly. I guess I can't fault them because nobody was in there and we ate at like 3pm.
Maybe my standards are quite low but I found this place to rank number 2 behind Sushi Island on my list of AYCE sushi in downtown toronto. With the lineups that Sushi Island gets on a regular basis, I wouldn't hesitate to go down a few more blocks and eat here.
Charming and Quaint. I've been going to Sushi Bon for years and it hasn't disappointed. The recent introduction of the 'All You Can Eat' menu surprised me (given that there is usually two or three staff in the place) and I was worried that the quality of the food, in terms of presentation and taste, would go down. Thankfully, it hasn't and remains as good as it was in the past. The Crispy Spicy Salmon Roll is great and the server is super sweet! The interior could use a little bit of a reno but when the sushi is this good ... who cares?
This place was a great find after my last go-to sushi joint closeddown. The prices seemed almost too good to be true and I halfexpected to get less than great sushi. I'm happy to report I was completely wrong. The place is small but smartly decorated and it has a welcomingatmosphere in general. There's ample staff for the customers andeven though I showed up to place a take-out order on a busy Fridaynight, they were able to fill my order surprisingly quickly. As for the sushi, it's good through and through: fresh, ample (nottoo little, not too much) and has, for my tastes, a good rice-to-fishratio. Also, the staff is more than happy to modify orders for nextto nothing.
