Went here for lunch with some close friends. We wanted to have a nice quiet lunch outside so we could chat.
Atmosphere- This outside patio is in a lovely spot along the walkway on Harbour Front. There are nice long outside booths with a beveled type  plastic top to keep rain off. It somehow takes the full force of the sunlight heat as well . ( this is what we needed. It also sits next to the band shell. Had we known a band was going to be playing loudly next door we may not have stayed. On a different day this would be a fantasic location for a few drinks, snacks and music. ( the band was good)
Food- We ordered : 1) The summer salad- Besides a nice mix of greens it was full of berries ( raspberries were especially fresh), cheese etc. The size of the salad was large. It took my friend a while to finish it. 2) fried corn with chimi churi- loved the spice. The spice really did taste nice on the corn. 3) fish tacos- small but quite good 4) pulled pork burger- excellent bun and pulled pork flavour was bang on. 5) french fries were good. I also noted that 2 of us ordered the corn and two ordered the tacos. They came on the same plate.  Not good practice.  This was fine but it would not have been appreciated if we were not good friends. They didn't give us separate plates to decant the items onto. I guess having 2 people hang their heads over the same plate of tacos is acceptable to them.
Service- Not good at all. We were seated quickly but waited to order. No one came around to see if it was good. As groups left tables were left sitting full of dirty dishes until another group arrived. They places 2 groups at our table while a few others sat with dirty dishes on them. One table was dirty the whole time we were there. I wouldn't mention this if waitresses were running off their feet. This was so far from the case. A  couple of them stood around chatting at entrance and  and around the bar.
Impression- The price was a bit steep but for the beautiful surroundings it was worth it. Food was very good. However, the service was not there. Maybe the waitresses hop to it a little more in the evenings when bigger tips for less work. This would be an awesome place on a summer evening for drinks.
