Great inexpensive menu and amazing staff! Chicken curry, and the lamb burger are to die for!
Amazing.. I've been going to the Loop since it opened, a few times a month at least. I've never had a bad experience. There are times when it is too busy and food takes a while to get there but you have to remember, their kitchen is barely bigger than a closet, they have one chef and the two brothers are the only waiters/owners of the restaurant. Nearly every time I go, the place is packed and if it isn't, it is by the time we're leaving unless we came especially late. People seem to be complaining at the fact that the food isn't there immediately but they also seem to not realize, The Loop is NOT a bar and NOT a diner, it's a restaurant. They have a bar but it isn't nearly close to their selling point and neither is their patio. The patio is wonderful but if that was all they had, they wouldn't be packed all winter as well.

BEST FOOD AND SERVICE. I absolutely love the food and the service here! I am really surprised to read some of the bad reviews from some people. The young men working here are always a pleasure, always smiling and the food is exceptional. Highly recommend the lamb! I live just up the street and come here often.
Great restaurant. Love this place. Food is delicious. Great service, the guys are always super friendly and attentive. Great patio too. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area. Best food on Kingston road.
Great food!. Just had a fantastic dinner @ The Loop. We brought our 2 yr old with us too. Had a delicious Salad with pear & orange and also ordered an avacado bruschetta. Lamb curry was also very tasty. Definitely will go back to try some pastas.
Best of Kingston Road. The Loop is a gem with one of the best patios on Kingston Road. The food s exceptional. The chef produces regular specials that are well worth trying. Inside is an intimate casual atmosphere with great service. If you're looking for a good deal on great food in the Beach, The Loop is well worth the visit.
Walked in not knowing exactly where I was going. I was in the neighbourhood around dinnertime and walked into to this cozy pub. A young gentleman was my server. He. Was. Fantastic. He was friendly, but not overbearing. He had personality, which I always like to see in service. For a drink, I ordered Stone Hammer Dark, which they had on tap, and I couldn't have been happier with that beer. For dinner, I ordered a lamb burger, seasoned with garam masala, served with yam fries. Again, couldn't be happier. The only downside to this lovely pub was that it was a bit cramped in terms of layout, otherwise, great job.
Blown Away! Amazing!. We were in a hurry and Kingston Rd. was our only option. Knowing only of the area's greasy spoons and pubs, I thought the best hope for a vegetarian would be a half-decent veggie burger. Think again. The Loop surprised me with a menu containing roasted butternut squash pasta, Gorgonzola gnocchi, and pear and arugula salad in addition to an amazing selection of burgers and more traditional pub-fare. My surprise didn't stop at the menu. The portions were generous and the flavour rivalled that of dishes I've paid twice the price for in the same city. Service was friendly and attentive. Yay for a fantastic restaurant on Kingston Rd. It was the most lovely meal I've had anywhere in a long time and it's right in my backyard. Thank you, "The Loop."
Brunch is the best in the area. Have been three times now for brunch. Every time I go surpasses the last. I don't even look at the menu anymore. Whatever the brunch feature is, I order it. Smoked Salmon omlette with goat cheese, Farmers crepe with egg, potato, back bacon and cheese, etc. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
This is a real pub. The wings are great! And the atmosphere is even better. I found the staff just great--friendly and helpful.
