I adore eating freshly made noodles. Lucky, there have been restaurants popping up across Toronto with such options. I have visited this restaurant called "Eight Noodles" many times to sample various food items. This hand made noodle restaurant can be found in a small plaza on Sheppard and Warden (beside the McD).
It was icy out tonight, just looking for a place close by for a quick bite. This little noodle shop in an obscure plaza fit the bill since it was right off the Warden 401 ramp. A quick inspection from the outside showed lots of patrons inside so that gave me the green light. Their menu had a lot of variety including soup and stir fried noodles. Some other entrees contained more spicier dishes to be had with plain rice. This instance, I ordered a large beef noodle ($7.95) on their first page. If this bombs, I ain't ever coming back since this was their "signature" soup noodle. When it arrived, the size looked big with lot of noodles. The amount of beef was okay, it did not overwhelm me. I was looking for some other items in the soup but just some green onions and thinly sliced turnips. The soup was nice and hot, the abundance of noodles kept me full. The other items on the menu certainly warrant another visit.
