Hands down, the BEST sushi I have ever experienced. Nothing compares. Nothing comes close. The staff are some of the friendliest people I have met. They gave us soup salad and edamame on the house! The rolls are insane. See for yourself
Excellent quality!. I’ve been coming to this sushi restaurant for many years. For this review I had takeout but I`ve also eaten here. They have nice private rooms to eat in and I love the presentation with the sushi boats. The service was very good and they have lots of free parking too.
I like that they give us tea and edamame while we wait for takeout. It helps to pass the time. We ordered assorted trays SM3 (sushi) and SA1 (sashimi), plus hand rolls. Take out also includes a bento box with rice, salad, edamame, broccoli and a miso soup.
The greatest thing about Yoko is they are very generous with the filling. For example; the spicy salmon hand roll will have salmon the whole way through, even the last bite at the tip. Other places fill the hand rolls with mostly rice with a bit of salmon at the top. Their sushi has nice big thick pieces of fish. It really makes a difference to me. You can tell they care. I will keep coming back and do recommend it.
I love it here. They combine excellent quality service, food and atmosphere. I come here frequently with my friends, and so far i have not been disappointed. To start off, the staff at yoko are very welcoming. Everytime we enter and leave they make sure to greet us and bid us farewell. The servers are always sweet and friendly and are quick too(ive only been here on nights, they are not that busy during dinner time). Yoko always provides miso soup, salad and edamame in the beginning, and gives fruits at the end of the meal. Their prices are not too bad, though some might argue that there is cheaper sushi out there for the same quality. I enjoy their spicy tuna makis, dynamite makis and the red and green dragon rolls. Very tastey. Ive tried their chicken teriyaki and tempura too, and mm mmm quite delicious. They offer lunch combos for everyday of the week and i like that i can order them for dinner too without an extra charge. I still have to try their korean food, since Yoko is run by a korean family, but im sure it is just as good. What i mostly love about this place is, once again, the friendly staff. They treat regulars pretty well, as me and some friends once received complimentary makis, how kind! Only downside? They play instrumental music on a stereo that makes me feel sleepy. Other than that, no complaints what so ever.
