Cinco de Mayo + Fat Bastard Burrito = Celebration?! Maybe not the fanciest celebration, but it worked for us.
This location is the largest Fat Bastard I have visited so far. There stools at a window counter plus 6 high tops with lots of space between them, with a total seating for about 26.
SWBMO had the “lil” BBQ Pulled Pork and I had the “big” Baja Chipotle Chicken. Lots of flavours, lots of textures, lots of burrito.
Since the restaurant wasn’t busy, service was very fast.
Finally open in my area! Thank you baby Cheesus!. If you work in my area (Vic Park & Sheppard) you'll know what I mean when I say that good food is hard to come by. This stuff will fill you to your gills without breaking the bank. The menu is diverse enough that you can hit this place up 2-3 times a week without growing tired of the food, and it especially caters to the various different levels of hungry. The humongous sized burritos weigh in at at least 2 whole pounds, and are about the size of a newborn baby. The foods are on display and clearly freshly prepared. The drink selection is good, the bathrooms are clean, and the staff seems to be very welcoming and friendly.
The only down side? Lineups can be long, but, that just goes to speak volumes about their food. This isn't fast food, this is real food with real ingredients, expect a 5-8 minute wait.
Signed, a soon to be fat bastard.
Love the food here, quality ingredients, huge sized burritos. This place is about the same quality but cheaper than Chipotle's, don't charge extra for guacamole like most places. And the burritos are bigger, cheaper and have more choices of toppings. If you're brave try the huge burrito, might take more than one sitting to finish it though.
