We have visited this BP after volleyball for some post-game drinks and grub. As a sponsor bar, our team is treated to a complimentary platter of nachos, bread, and cactus fries. Our servers have been very friendly. My first visit was an order of fried chicken wings ($12) tossed in hot sauce. These wings were tasty and went very well with my cold tallboy ($5). My second visit was a Spicy Perogy Burger ($14) w/ a side Caesar salad. This burger is described as "our half-pound prime rib beef burger topped with mayo, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, and cactus cut potatoes - garnished with our signature cactus dip, cheddar and green onions." The draw for me here was that I am a big fan of the Spicy Perogy Pizza and hoped that the burger would deliver in the same way. While the burger was in fact a tasty burger, it certainly fell short of my expectations. Lesson learned...stick to the pizza! Otherwise, a great BP location near the beach.
My first visit to this location and I found the food to be tad better than Scarborough location. Veg Mediterranean linguine was too good, the sauce was perfectly tangy, though some artichoke pieces were chewy. My husband's create your own pizza was superb with the regular crust, green peppers, jalapeño, tomatoes. The Panda theme was great too, with the panda greeting every table and Kung-fu Panda movie playing on the TV screens. It was a truly unique experience on this particular Doors Open weekend.
Family friendly sports bar with an expected but enjoyable menu of burgers, pizza and pasta. You'll also find salad and a good selection of grilled items. The atmosphere is friendly and certainly sports focused and often draws a good crowd on sporting nights such as hockey and UFC.
