Loved it loved it loved it!!! I'm from Sydney always in Toronto visiting family and this is my go to place. I always get the soy chorizo burrito, best burrito I've had. Tip ask them to toast the burrito makes it so crispy 😁
The food here is pretty good but you obviously can't expect the same quality as a sit down restaurant
This place is of very good quality for take out! Stop by here at least once a month for a quick bite to eat. The chicken mole filling is the best.
Really good tacos. And you can pick up authentic Mexican grocery items too.

Tortillas. A long time ago I heard about a place in Toronto that had a tortilla machine and made fresh tortillas everyday. I have been buying tortillas there almost monthly for the last year I have lived in Toronto, they are always very good and decently priced, way better than anything at the store. Their location in Dufferin has more things to buy than the one in Kensington, also they told me they made the tortillas at Dufferin and send them to Kensington daily, but thats why maybe they will run out of Yellow corn tortilla in the afternoon. Dont get the blue tortillas, is a rip off. The store is decently priced, but with Perolas in Kensington that is way cheaper is not worth buying from it, the only plus is that they do accept credit card for those days you run low in cash. The food is regular, is nice to grab a taco while you make your shopping or wait for your tortillas. But again if you are in Kensington why would you eat there if there are other options around. Eating at Dufferin is more acceptable since the lack of Mexican places in the area, also Ponchos open a churro stand next to the subway station, in case you want to grab dessert.
Great for take out tacos & tortillas. The chicken Mole tacos are awesome and delicious. $6 for 3 take out is a great deal!
Also the corn tortillas are beyond compare. Try it for quick to-go food!
This is not a restaurant I agree, but they make fantastic fresh corn tortillas ($3.50/kg). It's kind of a specialty foods store that also offers takeout.
