Meh at best. My coworker mentioned it and in fairness, loved it. I tried it a few different time/dishes to give it a fair shot. Unfortunately, not a lot of flavour and the pad thai tasted like ketchup. I do realise that ketchup is an ingredient in pad thai and I love ketchup, but to be swimming in it yuck! #moneywasted #neveragain
A pleasant, bright restaurant on Bloor Street West by the Royal York Station, the Green Mango offers good food at reasonable prices with a friendly staff. Pictured is a vegetarian Green Mango Curry which was delicious.
Came here for lunch today and ordered several dishes. Their lunch specials are a good price for what you get; we got lunch combo 3 & 9. Appetizer was the beef skewers with peanut sauce and the entree seafood Pad See Ew. The appetizer had 5 skewers but the beef was a tad chewy. Lunch combo 3 was good however same thing- the beef on the skewers could’ve been better. Lunch combo 9 was disappointing because the beef curry was not a curry, it was a stew. And when at a Thai restaurant you expect a proper spicy rich Thai curry. The Pad See Ew was really good, though again lacked spice so I just added hot sauce. It had squid and shrimp and was a big portion. Lastly the mango bubble tea was flavorful. Overall the food was decent, the service was quick and the restaurant was modern and clean, but we will try another Thai restaurant next time.
