One of the venerable Chinese Bakeries on Spadina north of Dundas this lovely outlet has the full range of Chinese baked goods but also specializes in the pictured lovely mousses and cakes. A small number of tables and chairs cater for those wishing to eat onsite or enjoy some bubble tea

Very cheap place, I love the desserts and breads, but obviusly is not healthy :( I recomend the spring rolls (4 $1 CAD canadian dolar ) delicious and the egg cake or something like that

After a sightseeing tour of Kensington market and a fresh Joe of Jimmy's coffee I was ready for another snack. This Chinese bakery could definitely fill my quota for pineapple buns. They have egg tarts, buns, cakes, and breads all under one roof. We tried their custard pineapple bun and a BBQ pork bun. Both were well made and had oodles of flavor. Some places simply inject the buns with air leaving very little filling on the inside. I was happy to confirm that this was not the case.
