This busy take-out outlet of Salad Days at the eastern end of the Bloor centre a few steps from the big food centre, is quite busy yet manages to serve customers their Salad needs quickly with very efficient staff. The food is prepared to one's specs, is fresh and tasty at reasonable prices.

Overall: Amazing, hearty, inexpensive salad! Great for a quick take-out to eat for lunch.

I came here around 1:30pm, and my goodness, the line was really long (probably around 30 people waiting in line). So I decided to look around Hudson Bay first, and came back around 3pm. Then, the line was definitely shorter (only around 5 people). I got a small custom salad. For the custom salads here, you get to pick the following: your greens, 4 types of veggies, protein (smoked salmon, chicken, etc. for additional fee), and dressing. I chose Spring Greens, with Cherry Tomatoes, Tomato/Cucumbers, Edamame, Red Bell Pepper, with Smoked Salmon, and Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing. For all this, it was less than $7! The salad was very fresh and it definitely is one of my most favorite place for healthy-eats in Toronto. The staffs were so kind as well. Will be coming back again soon (and often) to customize more salads! :)
