We had a great date and truly enjoyed our sushi. We have been ordering the eel bento box and sushi for five years so far. We are regulars and are as a matter of fact expecting our food from them tonight.
Maki Sushi #1 in our books. We live in Thornhill an will drive out of our way to come down to Maki Sushi. The food is always fresh and made to perfection.

Good Food. Good Service.. I love hopping in restaurants and when I do, the first thing I'm curious to see is the condition of the washroom. You know what they say about it. I've been here only couple of times with my daughter and the place certainly passed my standard in terms of cleanliness of the surrounding. The food is good and despite other reviews about the slow service, they were in fairness fast and friendly with us. I think the only problem is language although the servers speak English, I find them slow to quite pick it up. On July 19, I held a surprise party here for my daughter. That was our third time in the restaurant. I've arranged for the Tepanyaki table and everyone enjoyed it. I'd like to thank Terry (the chef) for making it fun and memorable for the kids, Patty (our main server) and mostly, Sam (The Manager) for accommodating us with our requests to put up birthday banners and decorations. A bit pricey compared to other Japanese Restaurants that offers AYCE Tepanyaki but to my opinion, they are cleaner in terms of food handling and environment. I also like the cozy ambience. I'd certainly recommend the place.
