I had breakfast here with family, including a one year old who wanted to explore. The staff were very welcoming and didn't bat an eye as my nephew walked around the space, looking in nooks and craneys. We had a delicious breakfast, good coffee and relaxed, but helpful service. It was a really pleasant way to start the day.
Nice, quaint, cozy, good food.. Great little place, I have to say. Menu is small and concise, and what I can tell from my limited experience, done very well.
Open kitchen, they serve beer, the staff was very friendly, and I would definitely return. Not many breakfast options on Queen St...
The Rustic Cosmo Cafe is a cafe shop that I would go to everyday. The shop is small but warm, the inside of the cafe just draws you into it, the beverage is delicious and you could just have a afternoon to yourself in this shop if you could. This place is a wonderful place and you should bring your friends and family to this place.
Cozy place with delicious bagel :)
A very relaxed, very friendly local vibe with tasty breakfasts and sandwich type lunches, and all at a very affordable price (especially for Queen West!) - what's not to love?
Always good and dependable. Love it!!
Discovered this place on a walk last Sunday morning and it was amazing. Atmosphere is great, service is wonderful and it's at least 20% cheaper than anywhere else in Parkdale or West Queen West. I'll be going again, even though it's out of my way. Try the eggs Benny.
With a warm, 'woody', and welcoming decor (pardon the alliteration), Rustic Cosmo Cafe is the sort of place that'll almost instantly put you at ease. The friendly staff only adds to the attributes that make this a nice little joint. The food was decent - nothing outstanding, but you get band for your buck, that's for sure. We ended up ordering quite a few things - pulled pork sandwich with a side of bacon (hell, yeah!), grilled chicken with avocado with fries, brunch burrito, a couple of coffees and juices. The pulled pork sandwich with sauteed onions was pretty damn good - the pork was juicy and didn't have too much sauce on it, allowing you to taste the meat, while the grilled chicken sandwich was good too. The most pleasing thing was that the chicken wasn't over cooked - a very common mistake while grilling chicken. The burrito was decent, but nothing special. Overall, a pretty comforting cafe to snack at and kill some time, with friendly staff and service with a smile.
A cozy place with good food, good coffee and good music. Actually, I reallyappreciated the music as well as the volume, which was the perfect level toallow for chatting while drowning out noise from other tables.I had a great roasted chicken sandwich and plenty of americano (sc. greatcoffee) here for under $20. I'll definitely be back.
