Been here for office party...love the decor and ambience. The Greek salad was awesome, especially the dressing. Must try the deep fried calamari for sure.... Unfortunately the chicken or lamb soulvaki looked a little dry. Good service..

A very nice Greek restaurant! We had a great meal.
Food: I had the mousakka, my first time, and it was a very good dish. It comes with a salad starter, which was good but quite watery.
Service: A bit impersonal and it took a while to be noticed even tho there was only one other table at the time, but it wasn't bad service.
Price: More than I intended to spend, up in the $15-$20 mark, but that's because I wanted to try this specific dish. There were cheaper options.
Summary: A nice place on the Danforth! There are lots of others to try, so I wouldn't likely go back, but it was a nice meal.
Been going here for 15 years now since I was young. Family has been going here before I was even born and the food is delicious ! The salad has the best sauce hands down, and the accompanying hot toasty garlic bread is a perfect. The servers are good. Sometimes there is a wait at times. I recommend the Greek salad and calamari !
Always the best ! Service and taste of all the dishes are great ! I drive from across the city for this restaurant ! I was brought her many years ago and have returned over and over again .
I tried their feta fries during taste of the danforth, and I fell in love. The fries were circular and when fried they are crispy on the outside and cooked on the inside. Balance distribution of feta and their special sauce, which made the experience worth lining up for. Yummy!
Amerzing!. We really liked how easy it was to order in. We ordered the three-dip combination as well as the Kalyvia pizza, which is thin crust with feta, tomatoes, mozarella, and artichokes. Delicious, big serving for two people. Very authentic and tasty, well-priced, and decent delivery time (45 minutes). Highly recommended.
One of my top 5 restaurants in the city of Toronto - been here more than 50 times over 13 years and have never had a bad experience. Excellent food, superior service, short wait times, moderate prices. Very highly recommended!
Are you kidding me? Home made Gyros? OH my goodness, what sweet beautiful music the gyro chef's are cooking up at Kalivia! I try to stop in every return home to east york. Mouth is watering thinking about the chicken gyros....mmmm Greek goodness!!
Kalyvia has THE best fried calamari accompanied with a small side of tzatziki & a wedge of lemon. The lamb chops ae cooked to one's desired "doneness"
