A world behind Minerva!
Okay, the review is sort of a mix bag for this one. It's a basic 3 for the commonly known, sit-down, dine in experience. However, it's the back patio that I would give a 5 to.
The back patio of this Minerva is a different experience altogether as well as should be a different restaurant. It is a Korean bbq experience that you would get. The rating of 5 would be for the night experience of this patio, on a fine Spring or Summer night! Try it yourself!
I would come here when we are craving for gamjatang, as they have richer taste compare to their other chain locations. Kids love the japchae and gamjatang here. The first place that always pop first on our head when we are craving for korean food. Price is relatively cheap too.
Tasty food is most definitely found here! 🤔Traditional Korean style restaurant offering soups with rice and other tasty dishes served fresh and hot! I particularly love
..love.love the spicy pork stir fry on hot plate. The flavor and sauce was incredible! A perfect dish with rice! Yums! The Owl of Minerva food chain offers solid Korean dishes that satisfies all the foodies out there! 🤗🍜🍚
This 24 hour open restaurant is my go-to for late night Korean food cravings. It is affordable, always fresh and most importantly tasty. They became very popular for their sizzling Pork Bone soup but later on for many other dishes they offer. They are like McDonalds, very consistent it always tastes exactly the same. I also recommend their Korean sausages which is probably one of the best in Toronto, its made from sticky rice, glass noodles, veggies and pork blood. Other than that almost every single dish they offer are all really great.
Always love going to Owl of Minerva for good Korean food. Ordered the Kimichi Fried Rice and it came out relatively quickly. Service was good and the food was pretty good. It's always a great place for getting relatively cheap Korean food in a nice place.
I ordered the Pork Bone Soup ($8.99). The soup was steaming hot, full of flavour, and served up with a ton of pork! The meal came with rice and the customary sides such as kimchi, sprouts, etc. Definitely worth a visit.
The service isn't that good and the place is kinda run down but their food is still good and very affordable. The best thing is that it's open 24hrs
One of the best Big Bones Soup in town!. Hands down one of the best, if not the best Big Bones Soup in town!
I have been there many times and will definitely go back.
Food: Not excellent, but quite good for the price.
Decor&Atmosphere: What decor&atmosphere? If come here it's all for the food baby!
Service: Pretty good. Nothing outstanding.
I love their bim bim bap, Kalbi and pork bone soup. Their cucumber pickles are great too... Fast and friendly service.
Just having the pork bone soup which was so good just wanted to let everyone know it was great and my date enjoyed a spicy fried chicken dish which i sampled very nice food for great price and friendly staff love it
