Weekend dinner 🍴 at Spring Rolls by Thai pan.
We experienced a very unique n impressive ambience there .
Saigon lettuce 🥬 wrap (chicken ) for 12.99 $ & Veg spring rolls for 4.99 $ was a great 👍 start of our evening. Followed by Tao Chicken 🍗 Fried rice 🍚 for 18.99 $ . The sweet n sour chicken along with lots of veggies was a yummy treat that tantalized our taste buds.

I was craving ayce sushi on Saturday night and figured I'd give Spring Rolls a shot since they had a large menu of various items in addition to sushi. I didn't have high expectations as I typically go to higher end a la carte sushi places instead of ayce but like I was hungry :) My usual sushi spot is Fune which I find has the freshest fish. Anyway back to Spring Rolls: service was excellent, server was super attentive and polite. As for food, here is what we ordered:
Sashimi (salmon, tuna, snapper, butterfish) - tasted great, especially the butterfish which can be a risk at cheaper sushi places, portions were on the small side but it's ayce so just order more!
Special rolls (black pearl roll and avo crab salmon roll) - very tasty
Sushi (salmon, tuna, snapper, butterfish) - not sure what the cook was thinking but the rice was very warm and the cold, raw fish on top of hot rice just wasn't appetizing. Ended up peeling the fish off and eating as sashimi.
Galbi - ok, not as flavourful as the ones at korean places but not bad
Calamari - good
Beef ginger broccoli - good
Chow mein - pretty standard
Har gow - good
Wonton soup - ok, wontons were huge
Chicken teriyaki - not bad but way too many cooking onions
Mango icecream - standard
Blondies - not great
Lemon tart - decent
Overall I would come back for ayce. The variety is great and the service is worthwhile. I've heard of ayce places where they purposely make you wait insane amounts of time for food in hopes that you'll be full and order less. Not like that here - the server was great and other waiters helped bring out dishes when they were ready so we really didn't wait long for anything. Sushi quality is pretty good - comparable to most other decent ayce places with the bonus of a variety of dim sum, grilled meats and thai dishes.
If I only wanted sushi and not ravenous I would still return to Fune.
Great food, EXCELLENT service. Our server was extremely attentive, polite, and helpful. The food was the same as any Spring Rolls location, but the service is what made it. The clientele seems very quiet and polite, and can be quite a contrast from the usual loud atmosphere at another Spring Rolls location, so the dining experience was overall very good. Would highly recommend this location.
