One of the best North Indian restaurants in the city. We have been going there for over a year and the quality is very consistent. They probably make the best butter chicken GTA has to offer. It’s not too sweet and has the perfect flavour. You will find butter chicken on the menu in almost every single Indian restaurants but TNFIC do it right. They also have a variation of beef and lamb curries, which all have amazing flavours. You can adjust the spice level to your preference (to a certain degree of course without compromising the recipe). I always request the beef and lamb to be a bit spicier but it’s fantastic either way. We are also a big fan of the Onion Bhaji, it’s perfectly fried with the right amount of batter. The owner is a friendly and a hardworking man always greeting customers with a big smile. Highly recommend this place!
A buffet place with small choices of options, but they taste good and reasonable price. The Chef is very friendly. No names on the food so you might have to try small portion of everything first to know what it is.
I have been coming to The Famous for years. Delicious variety of Indian food. Small friendly family place. So welcoming.
I love the new larger location. It maintains much of the intimacy of the original place but more comfortable seating and space.
The food is always good and it’s such a great value for authentic Curries and other Indian buffet foods.
Many Gluten-free options, very authentic Indian food cooked from fresh ingredients by Chef Suki. Be sure to try the mint chutney and they have the best Tandoori chicken in Toronto!

A small little Indian buffet that has decent food. There were maybe 12-14 main items to choose from. However, there were no labels on the food so if you aren't familiar with Indian food, you may have to try your luck which is what I did. There was white rice and we were given a basket of naan.
I don't eat very spicy food. Some of the items had a kick to it but nothing was too spicy for me. The butter chicken was finished after our first round and throughout our time here, it was never refilled.
I think the food is okay, especially at this price (13 plus change before tip). Those that want more spicy food may not enjoy it as much.
This is our go to place in Little India. We moved into the neighbourhood a year ago and instantly fell in love with this hidden gem. Its a tiny hole in the wall place but the owner is so friendly and always happy to see us, the food is inexpensive and you always get your fill (with take out or all you can eat) and the best part is the food is AMAZING. We go there at least a few times a month when we are too tired to cook and want something fast and tasty.
Four beers and two dinners for $40 with tip!....not fancy, but considering the price and flavor worth another visit.
Lived in little India for four years, one of my favorites. The owner/chef is a really nice guy, worth checking out.
Excellent food. Went for dinner buffet with multi-ethnic colleagues. All loved the food. Great flaky and soft naan that is much thinner than the ones you find in most Indian restos. That is good as you wouldn't fill yourselves with carbs and allows you to taste variety of their dishes.
