I remember when I first went to Asa Sushi - it was back in 2015. The buses were taking too long, so I decided to enter the restaurant. I was greeted by a nice chef and other waiters. Ever since then I always went here. I always order the chicken bento box beause that's the only bento box I've ever tried that tastes perfect besides other restaurants I've been to. I'm shocked that there are a few bad reviews about this place. I know usually during winter hours the place is busy. It's just about being patient. This is my favorite restaurant. ♡
I come to Asa Sushi at least once a week. We always order the Jane and Bloor roll and Red and Black roll. Although it is a little pricier, it is definitely the best sushi around this area. The store is owned and operated by what I believe is a Korean family. Great service (sometimes slow), but overall awesome experience everytime.
Best Sushi in Bloor West Village. ASA has totally fresh ingredients, they serve with a happy, respectful attitude, the presentation is aesthetic, the restaurant is always clean as are the toilets, and the music is just the right volume and taste. And this is why we keep going back time and again, not to mention the price is fair and certainly worth every cent. Thank you guys for your products and service. See you again soon!
My go to place for sushi! Everywhere else I have tried doesn't even come close. If I do end up getting sushi elsewhere , I always wish it were from Asa instead!
Takeout, in a flash. Been renovating my home, without a kitchen for > 4 months (I'm slow, shut up!). Chicken Udon is practically a staple at this point, like chicken noodle soup, but with better noodles, and better stock.
Cheap, service is reliable, food quality is consistent, can't complain. Only tried takeout from here, for which they've served well.
