My fave neighborhood coffee shop. Great coffee. Excellent vibes. It's the community centre for Cabbagetown. Only quibble: sometimes the music is too loud.
Love this place! Great community, great tunes, great service & deeeeelicious coffee. If I could take you back to Vancouver with me I would!
Jet Fuel is a pretty cool place. There is no menu, rather you just tell the barista what you would like.
They specialise in espresso based drinks. My friend and I ordered their hot chocolate. This was more of a hot cocoa. It was rich and decadent, with the true flavour of hot chocolate coming through. No sugary mixes here!
The foamed milk to top was phenomenal.
It is about $3 for a small hot chocolate and $4 for a large.
The small hot chocolate, served in a glass was quite satisfying. Overall, Jet Fuel was worth the trip to Cabbagetown.
If you don't think foamed milk can be exciting visit JetFuel. They are pros. The interior is cozy, the whole place has welcoming vibe. Especially bikers will love it here.
Really good coffee, neat presentation, good music, and a nice spot to catch up with a friend, which I very much enjoyed doing this week. Seriously the coffee was so good.
The nicest staff ever! It is very long and narrow cafe, but has a very adorable local charm and is perfect for the Cabbagetown area. Nice patio, but it's not my favourite.
Jerks make the best coffee. Fact.
Masked Professionalism. Jet Fuel coffee is terrific. The place is fun, the people interesting and the coffee worth whatever distance you have to travel.
It might seem a tad chaotic at first - but every ounce of Johnny's attention is focussed on making the customer comfortable and happy.
The Jet has had a new art show up EVRRY month for 17 years. There is a great annual party with free beer. The chairs are comfortable and the mix of urban cool, family friendly (kids and toddlers and babies all underfoot) and the line - there is always a line - moves very fast. Every coffee drink is $2 or $3 ( at the time of writing ) and the baked goods are $1. Beat that Starbucks.
Yes - I am a regular - every day that I am in town and why not.
Good coffee, unusual place. Jet Fuel's coffee is excellent and oddly enough, served in tall, milkshake-style glasses. It's a bit of a "coffee insider" sort of shop; there is no menu, so you have to know what you want before you go in there. Consequently, it's got the feel of a cliquey neighbourhood hangout.
The Annual Cabbagetown Festival kicked off our September. We look forward to it every year, as it is more than just a street festival, it is a celebration of everything my little neighbourhood has to offer. Here’s a recap of the fun we had this weekend. Festival Time! Carlton and Parliament Streets turn into pedestrian roadways for the festival. We started our morning getting coffees with Melissa at local brew Jet Fuel . HUGS! Melissa and Benny waiting patiently for mochas We were soon joined by Vanessa and we stopped by Global TV’s photobooth for some fun pictures. V and I trying hard to be a chill as these Global anchors Melissa “hanging out” with Global TV anchors Next we discovered a non-dairy gelato store that is new to the neighbourhood. Grinning Face Gelato offers coconut milk based ice cream. The delectable gelato menu …. The lack of dairy is definitely not noticed with their very interesting flavour combinations. Our favourites was Lemon Lemon which tastes like a Lemon Meringu
Because Jet Fuel is what it is, like one of those fixed points in space and time that turn up occasionally on Dr. Who.
Take your un-cool self over there, grab a fantastic latte, and don’t even think of asking for non fat.
