One of the best Ramens, only wish that the place would be bigger.
Although it worth the wait, be prepared for an hour to wait in line...
First time experiencing Ramen. Really enjoyed the Clam Shoyu. I think I’ve been spoiled for the best. Friendly staff, worth the wait. Perfect food for a cold night!
We were able to avoid the lineups by opting to go for lunch on Sunday, and arriving as the restaurant opened. The service was curt and fast.
This ramen definitely lives up to its fame: thick creamy broth, great flavour, very filling.
Black tonkotsu was definitely the favorite of the two. The smoky garlic oil really brought out the flavour of the broth.
I initially went there for lobster ramen but learned that it is available only on Wednesdays. So I had clam broth shio ramen instead and it was amazingly tasty. Their ramen is another-level good. I can’t wait to go back and try every flavor!
Best ramen place in Toronto hands down! Love the roasted garlic ramen. It was so flavourful and filling. The staff were nice and attentive as well. My friend had the original ramen and really enjoyed it too.
So I am updating my review since konjiki went out of their way to include the veggie ramen now as an everyday menu item.
To be honest I really enjoyed the ramen noodle. It gets softer the more you eat it and my whole family enjoyed their ramen as well. The staff is also attentive. Thank you Konjiki for going above and beyond and making our experience a great one.
I liked Konjiki Ramen overall and the quality of the ramen and soup bases. I would definitely want to come again and try their other bowls of ramen. I just hope that next time I won’t have to line up for an hour and that they have an improved organized way of getting their guests in a logical line-up.
Although Konjiki Ramen is known for their clam broth, I decided to go with the spicy red tonkotsu as I’m not the biggest seafood fan. I added an egg for $1.50; while we were hoping for the super jiggly eggs we got in Tokyo, the seasoned soft-boiled egg was still delicious.
I loved my dish – the broth was milky and there was just enough spice to give a kick. The first egg I got came looking a little… strange, so I asked for a new one.

I work right across Konjiki Ramen, the hottest Michelin-recommended ramen shop in Toronto right now. The small restaurant shares space with Saryo Cafe, a Japanese dessert shop. I skipped out on it when I was at Konjiki because I wanted to try their soft-serve when summer hits.
I got there at around 11:15 AM on a weekday, 15 minutes before it opened. My cousin and I were third in line. No more than 10 minutes later, the lineup grew rapidly. Being third in line allowed us to get a table to ourselves instead of being placed at a communal table. I decided to go for the Signature Clam Broth Ramen. This can be a hit or miss for some people because a couple of my friends weren't a fan of it. I, on the other hand, quite liked it! It was very light and definitely felt like I had the healthiest ramen option possible. My cousin remarked that it didn't have much flavour. If you are a ramen traditionalist and prefer thicker noodles and a heavier broth, then I recommend going for another ramen like the Smoky Black Tonkatsu Ramen.
I was in and out of the restaurant within 30 or so minutes. You will get swift service and the manager might come by to tell you more about the ramen. I really like how efficient and attentive the staff at Konjiki Ramen was. I wouldn't say I am crazy about the ramen but I definitely enjoyed it. I recommend if you have the ability to go for lunch time, drop by at least 15 minutes before opening to get ahead of the crowd. By the time I left, there was a huge line up. Don't go with more than one other person because it's a tiny shop with limited seating.
I was surprised how much I enjoyed this bowl of ramen! I’ve been to multiple ramen restaurants in the GTA and I definitely have my favorites. Typically I go for the spicy ramen option, but was eager to try Konjiki’s famous signature clam broth. Don’t be fooled by the transparency of the broth...it is packed with flavor and fairly rich! Pure umami. The porcini mushroom sauce was amazing, really! Omg...and the chashu!? Sublime! The experience itself was a little uncomfortable, given that the restaurant is on the smaller scale and people are closely packed together. I certainly recommend going, but bring a friend or two to make that atmosphere feel less awkward.
So excited to eat at this place. The very first opening in toronto all the way from Japan. Absolutely thrilled to have this amazing award winning ramen location closer to home. Had a little taste of all their soup bases, my absolute favourite was the soy vegetarian broth.
Doors do close at 8pm, so if you want to dine here, make sure you’re her before doors lock.
