the host is very friendly. had a cheesy traditional poutine there. food provided big quantity but I don't like the texture and taste of the cheese curb. i think it should be cut in smaller pieces
Got a serious craving for poutine? This is the place to be to fulfil your deepest hunger for fries smothered in gravy with squeaky cheese curds! There's also a nice selection of both sweet and savoury crepes from the menu (which is how the establishment got its name). 😊
Tres bien!. I decided to give this small restaurant a try for breakfast. I was greeted by a very nice lady at the front door in French. I should have gotten her name but to my understanding, she owned the restaurant. She was real patient with me because this was my first time ordering a crepe. I picked a crepes with syrup and strawberries. It was well priced. She invited me to watch her make my crepe. She explained to me that this was the technique that she learnt in France and in cooking school. She explained to me that the crepes are so good, you don't need to add anything to it. To prove her point, she cut a single, tiny piece off my crepes so I could try. She was not lying! It was delicious! She then proceeded to flip and remove it from the crepes maker, added syrup and put in a paper bag for takeout. It was the most delicious, sweetest delicacy that I have ever tasted! Growing up in scarborough, I never had the pleasure of eating an authentic French crepes and it was well worth it. Will definitely come back again.
