My first experience having Tapas and it was incredible! Summerlicious! Food was amazing!. Must try's: the anchovy dish, marinated olives and calamari, oh and let's not forget the seafood Paella! Service was incredible and the show was preformed with beautiful intensity. I recommend this restaurant 100%.

Fabulous experience.. Birthday dinner with friends and it couldn't have gone better, aside from the fantastic company of friends and family the restaurant itself has incredible and authentic Spanish Tapas ( a rarity in Toronto I find) We all had a variety of Tapas some we picked and others came from our waiters recommendations.. The garlic shrimps were sublime and the sauce was devoured with a delicious warm baguette, Lamb and warm goat cheese didn't last very long. in addition to our Tapas we order 2 paellas and what a treat to finally being able to eat a decent paella outside of Valencia ( it's been 9 years since I we were there) The sangria at $45 sounds expensive but when it was prepared table side this thing is huge !! almost 2 liters, turned out to be quite the bargain... There was also a Flamenco performance and that just brought back so many memories, the guitarist and dancer added to our overall experience... A must try for any one looking for a decent Spanish themed

Shrimp sauteed w garlic. Spicy but very good. Sauce great for dipping bread. mushrooms great w red sauce.
Wide selection of wines. Don't be intimiated if u don't know the names or kinds. That's what your waiter ... or google is for. Just type in the name. Full review of taste & type
Wait staff was nice and attentive but not pushy.
Some dressed up. Some casual.
Definitely a place to return.

Another Zomato Meetup, another delicious dinner with great company!

Tapas At Embrujo served up Spanish tapas style dishes including favourites like paella, meat & cheese boards and red wine sangria. We enjoyed a fresh salad with goat cheese and walnuts and then drooled over hot lobster croquettes (one of my favourite dishes of the night). We had the chance to try their traditional Paella Bomba with mussels, shrimp, chorizo, squid and scallops and a vegetarian style with flavourful vegetables. Both tasted as amazing as their aroma suggested when they arrived at our table in large hot skillets, great presentation! We enjoyed artichoke hearts and mushrooms in hot broths and crispy calamari (a little bit on the salty side but great texture regardless). We also ate sirloin strips with 3 different sauces, my favourite being the red pepper in the middle. To finish off the night, we shared Marsala poached pears in a sweet syrup, one bite was enough to taste the rich and sugar infused flavours in the pear. Overall, it was a great night with yummy eats, plenty of sangria refills and laughs all around :)

I was invited to a Zomato meetup at this restaurant and I am so glad I was able to make it and sample some vibrant Spanish tapas.

We started off with some red sangria with apples. The sangria was flowing all night and we were happy to keep drinking it. Luckily it wasn’t too strong, so even after a couple of glasses I wasn’t feeling too drunk. Perfect for sipping on a worknight.

The first dishes out of the kitchen were a goat cheese and walnut salad (Queso de cabra con nueces y aliño de arce) and cheese board (Surtido de Quesos). I am a huge fan of the cheese board and consider it an important menu item. I often eat a plate of cheese for dinner and this cheese did not disappoint me. I liked all three cheeses and the figs and orange marmalade that came with them.

I also tried the baked goat cheese with honey and herbs (Queso de Cabra con hierbas y Miel). The goat cheese was mild and creamy, and the honey and herbs added a nice touch.

Being a vegetarian I can’t comment on the lobster croquettes (Croquetas de Langosta), sirloin strips with three sauces (Solomillo con tres salsas) or cured meat board (Surtido Iberico) but I can tell you I didn’t hear any complaints from my tablemates. Apparently the croquettes were nice and creamy, the sirloin went down easy and the meat board disappeared almost as soon as it arrived.

The real show-stoppers were the dazzling paellas to come out of the kitchen next. The vegetarian paella (Paella de Verduras) was so vibrant and beautiful, perfectly cooked, and full of succulent vegetables. But as tasty as the veggie paella was, the traditional Paella Bomba made with short-grain rice from Valencia looked even better… It just looked so rich and buttery, even I was tempted to dig in and try a bite. I didn’t, since it was packed with chicken, shrimp, mussels, squid, scallops and chorizo but damn, that thing looked downright seductive. I think you know you’ve done right when even a staunch vegetarian of 15 years is drooling at the sight of dish brimming with meat and seafood. My boyfriend let me know that it did indeed taste as good as it looked, and that the texture was reminiscent of a luxurious risotto. The paella is meant to serve 2 but in my opinion could easily feed 4 or be taken home as delicious leftovers.

By the time the spicy mushrooms (Champiñones al ajillo), marinated artichoke hearts (Corazones de alcachofa en crema de Pedro Ximénez y frutos rojos), spicy potatoes (Papas Bravas) and calamari (Calamares a la romana) came, we were struggling to keep up. On one hand, we were full from gorging ourselves on paella. On the other, we were here to try as many delicious foods as possible. So try them we did.
Adding red pepper flakes to mushrooms was an interesting and welcome new taste. The artichokes absolutely melted in your mouth. The spicy potatoes were perfectly crispy with a zesty and robust tomato sauce. And I’ve heard it’s hard to go wrong with crunchy, salty calamari.

By the time dessert came I was sporting a decent sized food baby, glad that I was wearing a loose, stretchy dress. You may be asking yourself how a person so full would be able to eat the better part of two Marsala poached pears (Peras con Marsala). The answer is that they were just so light and sugary I couldn’t help myself. I don’t normally go for pears and this is not a dessert I would have picked for myself but I am glad to have tried them.

This restaurant has a cool vibe and a great menu and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. The service was excellent, the food was great and it's extremely close to the Broadview subway station which made it super easy to get to.

I attended a lovely meet-up with the great Zomato team! Thanks Pardis Parhizgar Pam Westwater Adam Gitto for the great night!
We had 2 tables of 8 and the restaurant went through varying degrees of business while we were there.
The service was great, the servers were all pleasant and friendly.  Attentive without being annoying. They were quick to pour water and sangria (5/5), and equally as quick to bring refills!!!!
We began with a delightful cheese board : a stunning, tasty blue, fantastic Manchego, and a medium-firm goat.  It came with dried figs & housemade marmalade. 5/5
Next was a salad, with goat cheese, walnuts and a maple dressing.  4/5
Black Angus striploin with 3 sauces (sweet parsley, Romesco and sweet mustard) The sauces were good, slightly on the sweet side.  The beef itself was a little dry. 3/5
The lobster croquettes were delicious, hot, crispy outside, soft delightfulness on the inside! 4/5
The paella with mussels, shrimp, chicken, chorizo, and squid was ok.  The rice was stodgy/mushy.  But the flavour was decent. 3/5
The meat board was good: serrano ham and chorizo.  4/5
Calamari was so-so.  Tender enough but a little on the salty side.  2.5/5
Papas bravas-potatoes cooked in spicy tomato sauce.  Ok, but really just lacked some seasoning and it was not spicy at all. 3/5
The artichoke hearts were ok.  They did have a pretty sour taste to them. 3/5
Mushrooms with garlic and extra virgin olive oil.  These were tasty, but salty and could not eat more than 3.  2.5/5
Dessert was Marsala poached pear - soooooo sweeet, more than a bite would have been tooooo much.  3/5
The washrooms are located in the basement, and they were decently clean and inviting.
We left full and satiated.
Would return to try some of the other tapas dishes, as well as to see some live music and flamenco dancing.

*N.B.:the floor in the restaurant has several different levels, so be aware! *
