This Ed's outlet in Leslieville on Queen just East of Logan is a neighbourhood favourite serving a great selection of the pictured gelati and ice creams. A few tables inside and a few chairs outside provide temporary accommodation for those wishing to eat on the spot. Packaged frozen selections are also available.
Love this ice cream shop. Huge selection if ice cream flavours as well as gelato! Their waffle cones are huge and made on-site. Very friendly staff and you can taste test the flavours. We ordered the chocolate peanut butter ice cream on a sugar cone and bacio and pistachio gelato in a regular size cup! So enjoyable on a nice hot summer day!
This is a nice little place to get very good ice-cream. They have a wide and interesting selection of flavors. We were four people and we all enjoyed our selection. You can sit inside but, there is only handful of seats.
I have never had such amazing raspberry sorbet! My wife raved about the pumpkin gelato and my kids asked to come back every day. This is a new favourite for us.

Everyone go and try this right now. i asked the staff what's the most popular flavour and i now understand why. it tastes like summer. Great little ice cream shop with a friendly and patient staff (i tried a few samples and asked a bunch of questions and they were super polite and enthusiastic). The other flavour i ended up ordering was the Blueberry Cheesecake which was also amazing, but the Burnt Marshmallow will keep me coming back for more. They give you one topping for free and i got the toffee bits which added to the overall epicness.
A cool little place with lots of different flavours of ice cream and gelato. They give you a free topping with your ice cream which is a nice touch. In the end though, it's ice cream and I find that it's hard to differentiate one store from another. Don't get me wrong, this was good ice cream.
Felt a bit rushed by the server. There was a line up behind us, but on a Sunday afternoon, there isn't a need to be rushed.
There's a reason why everyone says this is the best ice cream in Toronto. Tons of flavours of yogurt, ice cream, and gelato; toppings (like gummy bears, red berries, Oreo crumbs, etc.) and two flavours per cup. I would recommend lime in coconut or strawberry rhubarb. Ice cream is the perfect consistency - not too soft but very creamy and doesn't melt too quickly.
Super friendly staff. There's plenty of ice cream flavours to look at. If you're not sure what flavour to get, just ask for a sample. They have a dedicated fridge just for the small tubs of ice cream. If they don't have the flavour you want, no problem they'll set it up for you. I usually get a small tub of ice cream each time I visit. Burnt Marshmellow is my fave. They opened another location in the Roncesvalles area
What is really not to love about Ed's real scoop?! The variety and flavors are unique and all very delicious. The staff are uber happy dishing out the frozen treat. Must try. Worth a travel to go
