Rol San serves, in my opinion, the very best dim sum in Chinatown! We go there mainly in the morning or early afternoon for dim sum. Because you order the dim sum instead of waiting around for a cart to show up, it always arrives table side hot and fresh. Standard dim sum staples such as har gow and sui mai are wonderful as are the more exotic kinds.
The only downside is that sometimes the lineup to get in is long; however, always worth the wait -- and it usually moves quickly.
Tip: the ambiance in the seating area at the back is better than the front.
Always good to have dim sum in canada,
This weather and din sum, calls out for a good good night. Been there twice. Never dissatisfied. Me with my darling tried quite some stuff for $35. The variety is amazing. The place is clean, the washrooms are clean too. The tea is good. Pork ribs in black bean sauce from the dim sum menu is my fav, meat and pork dumpling, fried dumpling, wings, the highlight of them all, the squid tentacles. Lightly battered with the perfect amount of seasoning.
This place is a must try on any cold day in this cold country. The hot chilli sauce is on point goes well with almost everything except for the tea. Also, i am not a big fan of the fishy fishy taste, i tried the squids in shrimp base sauce, was really good(what my girlfriend said) honestly , not my thing.
A true Chinese cuisine experience with affordable prices. Amazing place to be and definitely try their pork buns, that's a must! The ambience was like a family restraunt and isn't a quite place at all, but the service was quick and the servers were friendly. The food was amazing.
