Despite service being slow, and our app coming out after our entree, the food was truly delicious and I’d recommend visiting. The menu highlights tacos on Ojibway-style fry bread. I had a coconut chicken curry version—and it was excellent. The spice wasn’t too overpowering, and the addition of a sweet fruit-based salsa complemented the dish. The Scone Dogs app (battered hot dog) was nothing too unusual from my expectations but tasty nonetheless. I tried the Cedar Soda (made with syrup a la Italian-style sodas) but just like the name suggests, it tasted like trees. Definitely an acquired taste.
I Love Indigenous Food And It Shows!
I learned about the Pow Wow Cafe because Sean Adler, the owner came to the First Narayever Congregation Synagogue back on Saturday, February 10, 2018 and gave a lecture and that is where I learned about his restaurant and so I was interested.
Since my 48th Birthday is on Tuesday, February 13th, 2018, I asked my close friend Guillermo Palomares from Guillermo's Creative Hair Studio to take ME out to the Pow Wow Cafe for Indian Tacos and More!
What a Very Nice Experience That I Had!
When we got to Sean's very Cute Cafe, we were given the Menu on a Wooden Board which was Quite Unique.
His Menu is Awesome!
His Indian Tacos Are Huge and Yes, I Had Two (2) Of Them!
Delicious!
Here is the Full Menu on What Guillermo Palomares and I had for Lunch!
Beef Taco = Guillermo Palomares had this.
Coconut Chicken Taco, Veggie Taco =
Howard Paul Shore Had this.
Cedar Tea = Howard Paul Shore Had This Delicious Tea!
Cedar Soda = Another Delicious Treat that Howard Paul Shore Had in which Sean Adler Invented!
For Dessert, Howard Paul Shore Had This Very Delicious
Peanut Butter and Banana FryBread.
I know that I had a lot to eat, but I did Not Eat Anything Else That Day and it was Such An Enjoyable Pow Wow Cafe Eating Occasion.
I more than Highly Recommend the Pow Wow Cafe for anybody seeking out a Great Indigenous Meal that is Healthy and Nutritious Too!
I want to personally Thank Guillermo Palomares and Sean Adler for participating in my Youtube Video as well as Kammy for Serving Us and Helping Us To Make My Youtube Video as well back on Monday, February 12, 2018.
Sincerely yours,
Howard Paul Shore

Great place for Sunday brunch! It's a bit small, as all the stores on the street, but the waiting was worth it. Different brunch styles depending on the taste (even with vegetarian options).
I was looking forward to this for quite a while and am super glad to have finally tried it. I had the jerk chicken taco and it was delicious! Very reasonably priced and the staff were extremely friendly. They also had a nice little patio which is great on a warm, sunny day.
Incredibly busy and a tiny kitchen means that it will take a while for you to get your meal. However, it will be worth the wait. The fry bread is simply delicious. So flavourful with a great crunch and texture. The options are many and the portions are generous. The staff is kind and attentive.
